That is the latest sync version. You're good to go.
Thanks,

That extensive update list was definitely not fun to deal with.... Hopefully that breaks what ever update funk my car was in, or whatever reason ford was offering it OTA updates.

Again thanks for all you do on this forum.

Hello everyone, quick question.

I borrowed an adapter and got the two day FDRS license. On my final 3 module updates. Which is also the biggest ones.

Just finished the ipma and it's currently working on the CMR module and I think I got the power steering and one other after that.

The car still says it's on 4.2.4 but if I'm understanding these module updates. This should bring me the to the current version that is available for my car once done. The sync system just won't report it is as a the latest power up update correct?

Either way once done. It will be a whole two day process and I have a little piece of mind that it is done.

Edit: all modules updated.
Normally, when you update a module in FDRS that would have (eventually) come as an OTA it means you'll never see that update reported in Sync. However recently on both my car and truck after I did an update with FDRS I got notified shortly afterward that I had received an OTA and got the notes and everything. I suspect that when that happened the OTA was already in my queue for download and by doing the update with FDRS I just completed what had already been started.

Having said that, if you do all your current updates with FDRS your car could very well continue to say you're on 4.2.4 cause that the last thing you got as an OTA. Until something newer comes along.

What's your VIN? I'll see if there's newer one available in your FDRS list.

Well yes, and no. It is the latest according to this spreadsheet....but there is one newer that would be Sync 1058. You'll get there..it was a minor change with no visible differences from the version before that I could see. I don't know why I got a later version (-EM instead of -EL) but I did.

Are you referring to your Sync version? If so you're very current (Like Sync 1049 or so, software rev. PU5T-14G682-EL).

As for the rest of your 'available' software list in FDRS you are certainly not doing too bad:

You can expect the CMR, IPMA, and PSCM to get updated as OTAs when the new BlueCruise update rolls out to you. I believe the GFM and ACM should also have come by OTA but they might need to come back around for your car later.

Just curious to see if you've ever noticed, but could the revision number have something to do with the model year and not the Sync version itself? PTS doesn't show rev number, so I never pay too much attention to that detail.

PTS shows you are on Sync 23291 since 12/5, and you got APIM OTA 6.2.1 that day according to your OTA dashboard. Since the APIM update, you also got 6.3.0, 6.4.0, 23-PU0722-DC-CHG3 and 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT was the last OTA on 12/20.

The good news is that you now have an available gateway update which should open the path to other updates when it's done.

I would contact the service advisor again to find out if there is any indication that your car's TCU is communicating with the Ford servers. If not then it needs to be diagnosed for that issue.
@Mike G, would you mind running my VIN again? I took it back to the dealership but think they still failed to fix it. 3FMTK3SU6MMA03508

I’m looking to buy another Mach e. This time a used 21 or 22 GT. Would running the FDRS before purchase, or asking the dealership to provide a FDRS report before purchase help? I’m a little concerned concerned about purchasing a ford buy back. But, would do it it the price made sense. What do you all think?

Either way I am happy for now.
Was hoping that BC 1.4 was in those massive updates for the ADAS modules. Tried bluecruise on the way to work. Noticed it does lane center better. But does not change lanes when you turn on the turn signal.
Also noticed that the CSP hasn't cleared from my vehicle dashboard. I assume once the car talks to the mother ship, that will clear out.

I would recommend you get us the VIN so we take a look at its current state before you buy it.

Could one of gracious folks take a look at 3FMTK4SE4MME00813? Thanks!

I have gotten a persistent "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" and Service Vehicle Soon that won't clear. I wanted to see what I needed to update, and do a before and after post trip to the dealer.
