I'm leaving on a 7 day cruise but I'm not sure if I can leave the car parked for a week and when I get home will it powerup and get us home? What are your thoughts? I would hate to get back and have a problem at the parking garage.

It will be fine. I travel for work and my car has been parked at the airport for 5 days at a time and has never lost more than 2% of it's charge, which is what I assume your concern to be.

Just confirming again what the above members have said. You will have absolutely no issues leaving the car for 7 days.

4 times in the last two years I've left my car parked at my parents for one month each time while having to use their car. At least 6 times I've left my car at the airport for minimum of two weeks. Not one time did I have an issue and it never lost one percentage of battery charge.

I went away for a week at the beginning of the month. It was outside in 20°-30° weather. No drop in the HVB. The 12v battery dropped, but it was still fine when I started it.

I just parked my MME for 4 days during this latest deep freeze and lost zero state of charge.

The manual tells you what to do for a 30 day period. That should tell you that less than 30 days is a non-issue.

Thanks everyone for your input. I will be driving my mme to the cruise port. I'm glad I did not know how we were going to fit our luggage in a small car.

Parked at the airport at MasterPark. They even charged it while I was gone.

For best battery health, avoid having your car sit around near 0% or 100% for an extended period of time.

You will definitely have a problem when you get back. Your MME is going to shun you for so callously abandoning it to go on some so-called vacation and leaving it all alone in some port parking lot. If I were you, I'd bring back some Cubans and you'd better stop at the fanciest L3 charger you can find on the way home and treat your MME to premium grade electrons.

I'm having the same fear as OP because my mme doesn't like me (or the 12v battery). 3x the 12v has died on me. 1st parked for 4 days, 2nd 5 days and 3rd 1.5 days (plugged in). I too have a 7 day cruising coming up end of March. My mme is at the doctor right now. most rec convo with them is that something is def causing a drain on the 12v so they're trying to find out what.
