There is an interesting contrast between what PTS is saying is available and what FDRS says.....

FDRS says I have a BCM and gateway available this morning.....but PTS on the other hand only shows the BCM as available. I wonder why they aren't in sync?

I haven't turned my car on for a while because it's in the 'bold corner' of the carport, in timeout, awaiting a new HVJB, which my servicing dealer has but can't schedule due to the tech being busy with 3 transmission jobs (he's apparently the transmission guy as well as the EV tech).

Hmmm, there was no GWM for me, even after a clear DTC and network scan....but I am in the UK where we tend to not get cool things....
I checked a couple of '21 VINs and none of them have it (yet).

^^^ HVJB on a 2023??
Yup.

And the effective date on the TSB is one day after my car was made. That car has never ever been fast charged (I still have all my Blue Oval points) and I don't run around at WOT doing errands. So I'm guessing my car was one of the last ones built with the unimproved HVJB.

Oh, and it has just under 5k miles.

Yea, I've noticed this, too. For sure they aren't linked. Just yesterday on the FDRS look-up thread here, I looked up an MME in PTS and it was not showing any updates for the APIM, GWM, TCU or IPC. When I got home to my laptop, I checked it with FDRS and it was showing an APIM and GWM update. Very strange.

My '21 Job 2 does have a GWM showing today. I have a bunch of updates I've been holding off on doing, waiting for OTAs, but who knows when those will come back on. I wonder what update is missing to enable BC 1.X?

Need an updated APIM for sure. Based on what you have pending above, that might one of the last missing pieces.

'21 Job 2, also got the GWM this morning. Quick update, no issues.
I was offered BCM and GWM tonight. BCM was pretty quick. When I started GWM, it almost immediately said USB data could not be acquired from Felix, and I was like who’s Felix?

It offered can bus alternative with an hour plus warning, and I was like sure. Well, now almost an hour in and it’s only 10% of the last block completed. Pumps are running as usual, so need a full power supply to go this route.

Interesting. I got the BCM earlier this week or last week, I don’t remember. I did need full power supply for that one though.

Happened to me with a GWM update last night updating a Lightning. Same Felix error. Just tried again and it pulled the files with no issues and without having to go the CAN route.
