I really appreciate the help here so I’m going to politely ask if anyone can run this VIN again. I made the deal on this car Monday and they had me wait till tomorrow to pick it up. Reason being they wanted to make sure it was fully up to date. I would like to compare to the earlier check that Mike G did. Hey Mike you also warned me that I would be disappointed.

I have a 2022 Mach-E GT from July 2022 and i didn't received any OTA updates, took it to dealer twice they kept it for 3 weeks and did nothing, no response about the updates they did.

Can anyone please look up this VIN 3FMTK4SE9NMA28502 and let me know if i am missing any setup or i have pending APIM modules.

On vehicle recurring update is scheduled and on but the FordPass app and Ford.com account shows auto updates are turned off but FordPass app always shows the correct recurring dates and time but not Automatic Updates turned on.

They poked around a bit on the 5th and did a LIN initialization (a procedure performed to add a new module to the network), but that's it.

On the 7th they did update your powertrain modules (PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC).

Then on the 8th they spent about 20 minutes reviewing your OTA dashboard and connected vehicle status pages in PTS. No programming.

Then on the 16th somebody checked PTS again (connected vehicle page) for about one minute at 1035 in the morning.

On the 18th they got busy and updated the OBCC module, and it says they did the IPMA and PSCM coordinated update although the IPMA is still listed as an available update in the list below. That was all the programming for that day but there was a lot of PTS connected services review and possibly a lot of head scratching.

I gotta wonder though....why with a gateway update staring them in the face...on a car that isn't getting OTAs, and a firm understanding of how software dependencies work, that they haven't broken out the USB drive and updated that gateway....just to see if that unblocks things. I believe it would... and that's where I would start.

To the service writer: "Customer states car is not receiving OTAs and is behind on Sync rev. (currently 22082_PRODUCT and current for this MY is 23291_PRODUCT) Customer has opened a case with BEV Team support. Requesting diagnosis to determine why car will not update."

And again, I think that gateway in this list is a clue:

Hi, I've had my car for 3 weeks. It's a 23 Job 1 from June. I received 5 or 6 OTAs the first two weeks, the last being 5.1.1. For the past week, I see the icon indicating communication with Ford nearly all the time. But no more updates. I've left the vehicle on in the garage multiple times for 5-6 hours after driving it from 30-60 minutes. The icon is still there when I have to go drive it again. Can someone tell me if something is stuck? My VIN is 3FMTK3SU6PMA50557

First time I’ve seen this message on my car. Should I be doing anything to help prep the car? I just got back from a 1.5 hour drive (it’s 6:36pm). The message came on around 1pm.

It should install after downloading at the time you have set in your schedule.

If you use your car daily (like driving to work) I'd set the scheduled time to a time that is immediately after you've arrived at work and won't be using the car for maybe an hour. That way you know your 12V battery is fully charged from your drive to work, and the update can install while you're not using the car for a short while.

In any event, here's a list of your currently available updates according to FDRS:

Thank you Mike for the detailed response. I do have a schedule set every time I arrive home from work. Unfortunately 6.3.0 ended up failing so I will have to wait for a second round.

Hi, I just failed the 24-PU0105-CMR-FX, which I was hoping would fix the unavailable Blue Cruise. Just out of curiosity, is it possible to find out why it failed? Also, can I find out if I'm missing anything else?
