1. I have a dealer appointment scheduled for next Monday? Do you think the severity of this issue warrants a trip to the dealer? I have a feeling it does.
If you clear the codes with FORScan when the adapter arrives and they come back, then I would say a dealer visit is warranted. Once you get the adapter, I'll need you to send me screenshots of the AB data on certain modules so I can further look into why your BC isn't working. Message me when you get it and I'll tell you what to send me.

Any idea what's preventing the BlueCruise from working?

I will mention that when you look at About/Sync, it does not show a BlueCruise Map Version, instead, it shows "Hands Free Driving Available Thru 03-09-2074".

This compares to my 2022 MME Select, which I plan on selling, which does have functional BlueCruise and shows "BlueCruise Map Version: MU5T-14H394-AAT".

So there's obviously a problem with the new 2023.
I would tell them the facts. That BlueCruise doesn't work.

Some techs are reading in their FMC dealer forums how to fix this.

But it generally boils down to updating all the modules that would have anything to do with BlueCruise.

Meaning, start with that APIM that is there, and then if a GWM (gateway) pops up after that then do that, and then check for another gateway, or a TCU, or another APIM and do all of those before moving on to the cruise control specific items like the CMR, IPC, IPMA, and PSCM.

The "Hands-Free Driving Available.." got changed to a map version number a couple of APIM updates ago. So the one on your MME is the new format and is correct.

I've marked the powertrain modules with red stars...those are to be avoided right now due to an issue that will result in 1PD quitting repeatedly and possibly drive mode changes from whatever you had it set to...to something else, which might change the way your regen braking functions.
So best to avoid those.
Yes, this I can confirm. I was so happy that my dealer updated all my pending modules last Monday, incl. those belonging to the powertrain. Well, today I had the 1st 1PD fail message...

Aren't you having problems with PAAK and the car not immediately recognizing your phone when you walk up? And I thought you mentioned something about your windshield fogging up a bit when it was cold.

Hi Mike, just want to let you know that out on an errand today after this 23B50 update I got the 1pd failed on my screen - had to stop and restart to get 1 pd back.

No OTA history on your vehicle, so not sure where they got that from. Based on the codes your car is reporting, you look like a prime candidate for the attached TSB. Unofficial list of modules pending update is below.

I'm sorry, but I talk to a lot of people on 6 different forums for 5 different vehicles. I didn't remember what your particular issue was when I responded. Yes, the TSB I sent you before was for reprogramming the CMR due to your BC not working. The CMR was successfully updated, so bearing any other issues, it should be working now.

Edit: Tech notes won't appear in PTS for a bit. Sometimes it takes longer than others to pop up. It could have something to do with when the warranty claim gets processed.
