Hi there! My dealer kept my new Mach-E for weeks doing “stuff” to all the modules to fix a blue cruise fault. Ever since then no updates. I’m probably just being paranoid but would someone mind pulling my vin and letting me know if there’s anything wrong? It sat on the lot for almost a year before I got it

It's Ford's fleet management system...so yeah, Ford has to fix this.

I also think I have a very old SYNC version. I asked the Ford dealer to update it, but that did not happen. That's probably why I'm not getting any updates.

According to warranty history, the CMR was replaced at the end of March and OTA history shows you have gotten a few updates since then. The last one was the minor connectivity update and the one before that was 6.3.0.

Edit: Did some quick research and it seems Ford vehicle in NL can get OTA's. Your TCU may still be provisioned for Germany. The dealer should be able to help with that, or you can do it with FORScan if you know the correct country code for NL. That is why I was asking for a VIN of another Ford vehicle from your country.

Yes, that Sync version is very old. June 2021 build I think is a job 1 vehicle; not sure with the Mach E. @Mike G is better suited to help you with that.

yes other Mach-E cars can receive OTA. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone around here who also has a Mach-E to compare. It is quite possible that my TCU is still registered in Germany.

Despite that, I should still receive the updates, right?

Can an old Sync version of job 1 be updated to a new version? Or will the version remain the same because my MME is from 2021?

Would appreciate if anyone would be able to run my VIN and give me an idea where I’m at. I bought the car in early March and a couple updates went through right away, but I had to delete the app and resync PAAK and when I did that there hasnt been an update since. Wondering if it was a coincidence or that somehow switched a setting or something.
