Last OTA was 4.2.2.2 about 3 weeks ago. You're a bit behind, but the car is talking to the mothership and has recent OTA history recorded. Hopefully the trend continues for you and you get more sooner than later.

Is your car giving you any issues?

@Mike G
I have called Ford 4 times, they kept transferring me to different groups.
The last person I spoke with was seemingly the right one, and after 5 mins of being on hold, I got disconnected... but he said he saw the issue.

Any chance you can look to see if the account has chnged at all? I really want to get these updates.

Thanks
99% sure if you can’t enable connected services in your sync options it’s still on fleet mode.

Yeah…even once you got the fleet mode fixed. They have to assign your VIN to a batch and send out updates.

Personally I have had mine a month and a half and no OTA’s have been sent out.

I am really tempted to get all the stuff to FDRS myself...wondering what is out there for my vehicle and if you all would recommend I take the plunge. Last OTA I got was for the Tesla charging. Any goodies out there for me that would make it more tempting to get a mongoose and power supply? Also wondering why I am hearing about more OTAs and not getting them.

23.0, VIN 3FMTK3SU4PMA02717.

You and me both. Shame Ford's OTA is this $hitty that we'd have to resort to investing in this kind of expense just to get OTA updates though.

Last OTA was 5.1.1 followed by another GWM update in April that does not have release notes, so not sure which one it was. Modules with pending updates are below. You also need some APIM, GWM, TCU and at least one IPC update that are not shown here before you are up to date.

Your car is on Sync 23291 which is either the latest version available for you at this time or one version behind. Modules with pending updates are below.

Your car is also on a very recent Sync version but has a lot of the ancillary updates pending. Of the updates you see here, the CMR, PSCM and IPMA are part of the BC 1.4 upgrade package and will give you much improved driver assist features. You're also showing several drivetrain updates which improve overall drivability. Whether this is worth the investment into FDRS or not is a matter of opinion. However, for several reasons, I think everyone who owns a Ford Sync 4 vehicle should have a Mongoose in their toolbox.

I am brand new to this, the IPC update(s) not shown, would they be available in FDRS? And thanks again!

Hard to say. Even with FDRS, not every existing update can be installed. It would have to be released on the server side. The APIM, GWM TCU and IPC modules have dependencies where they have to be installed in a certain sequence. Once one update gets done, the following one gets released. It is impossible to tell if the server will release the next update until the preceding update is done. Some vehicles "stop" showing updates at different points in the update process than others and there is no known rhyme or reason as to why this happens. You can invest in all the FDRS equipment and still not be able to fully update your vehicle.

There are some cases where the "missing" updates can be installed via unconventional methods if the owner is willing to go into that rabbit hole, and there are cases where there is nothing the owner can do but wait for Ford to get their sh*t together and just make all the updates available.

You being new to this, I would follow this thread for a month or so and then determine if FDRS is right for you. If you have the disposable income and what to dive in, then you'll have plenty of support here. This community is full of helpful and knowledgeable people.

Thank you! So I understand, is this something I can go to a dealer to have updated and up-to-date? Thanks!
