CC2s I've been running on my Mondeo for a number of years. Wear and grip are brilliant and gave me confidence in wet and slippy weather. Slightly noisy, but not surprising given the tread pattern.
I no longer commute through the countryside and wet roads so switched back to summer tyres when the CC2 wore out. (Yokohama blue earth).
I'd say they are about 10% more efficient on fuel than the CC2s.
Given our relatively mild weather in the UK I'll probably stick to summer tyres going forward.

Thought I would throw in that I have the Performance Winter version of the Grand Touring CC2's (Pilot Alpin 5) and they really are amazing in the wet with that tread pattern (also great in the snow).

I just installed pilot sport 4S and love them for the performance. Not surprised they aren’t built for efficiency. Gotta compromise somewhere.
I can't stay away from them (PS4S). They came OEM on my Focus RS, GT500 and I tried several times wanting to like the handling/steering of high performance all seasons but just couldn't do it. Sorry but I'm really picky. I did state back in a thread here a couple of years ago I did not need summer performance tires on this car since I had other performance cars but had to have them. As the Tire Rack reviewers stated along with pretty much any other review, they are awesome in both wet and dry handling not to mention the more precise steering feel which is my biggest beef with a lot of other tires I've tested. I know this is a heavy SUV but at least these tires give it a bit more performance and yes, I don't care one iota about the range.

I have put 23k+ miles on my CC2s and Discount tire said I have about half of my usable tread left.
I have +37k on my original '22 tires. They don't seem to wear out.

I like my CC2. Have had them about 3000 miles and average about 3.7 m/kwh

Awesome! I too got these installed couple of weeks ago and did around 500 miles. Loved these so far. A little loss in range but the control is much better compared to the stock.

I'm really intrigued by the Hankook Ion SUV AS tires. Summer road trip range is really important to me, especially on the GT since it's got really short legs already (230ish miles @ 70mph with the OEM Continentals). It's clear from the testing that the Hankooks can stretch out the miles. My only hesitation with them is that they aren't that great on wet roads which is an issue for me in Seattle.

It's too bad the Goodyear Ecoready tires aren't sized for the GT yet since they have a really good mix of efficiency and wet road grip.

My buddy put these on one of his Teslas for winter ski trips and absolutely swears by them for both snow and icy roads. He says the CC2s are fine on his other Tesla in the snow but icy roads are a challenge, with their grip no better than an all season tire.

I put CC2s on a couple thousand miles ago and been very happy with them. Efficiency "around town" seems to be about the same. I took my first mini "road trip" yesterday, and efficiency dropped, but I was going 75, and the tires were not inflated optimally (1-3 PSI off depending on the tire.) I expect that if I was closer to 70/72MPH and had the tires properly inflated, I would be closer to what I would've expected, which is somewhere between 2.7 and 2.9 with interstate driving in Illinois (cannot fight crosswinds through farm fields.)

THREAD pattern?? I thought tires used TREAD patterns, LOL!
Well, actually, the thread pattern is internal. And with tires, like people, what's important is what's on the inside. ??

(Thanks for letting me know about my typo)

Just curious, how many miles did you get from your original tires?
I drove directly to discount tire from the dealer and they gave me some money for the original tires. I think it was $40 per tire, not sure.

I have been very happy with the wet road grip of the CC2s. Driving between Forks and Aberdeen, WA (temperate rain forest territory) in a winter rain storm they didn't hydroplane or give a hint of lateral slippage on country roads during some spirited driving.

Did you manually calculate the mi/kwh or is there a way to find that out in the car?
Under trips
PSA - the trip efficiency data is not accurate.

If you want to know the true mi/kWh, you need a OBD scanner and calculate it based on the EtE before and after the trip. It will be significantly different from what you see in the trip computer.

Today I drove 148 miles and the trip computer said 2.4 mi/kWh, but based on the energy actually removed from the battery it was 2.77. That is beyond significant. It's ridiculous.
