My car was bricked on Friday and it's sitting in the dealership since then. Fordpass and Ford account showing wrong stats and location.

Can someone check if my vin has any recalls or OTAs?

Can someone check mine please? I got a SSN + charge fault and accessory-only mode while parked, but car started just fine after about 5 minutes. Has happened twice, and only when plugged in while waiting for charge schedule.

Any help would be much appreciated!

So here's your VHA showing what DTCs you have....no SSN or charging issues......but your 12V battery is low enough (37%) that it's causing other issues. If you're on your original 12V battery then that's the likely culprit.

Is this screen something in FDRS, or from somewhere else? Can anybody subscribe to this for their cars?

If/when someone checks this, please check in PTS if they had an OTA attempt on Thursday or Friday. IF they did, which module/strategy was attempted?

it's from PTS, along with vehicle history, OTA data and repair manual. You can subscribe for $26/3 days. Go to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/ then Service Info, and change it to 3 days (unless you're Daddy Warbucks and want to pay $2800/year)

Can some check 3FMTK4SE2PMA44401 for updates? Thank you for doing this.
Your car received a trigger for OTA 4.2.1 yesterday and will download it the next time you drive it. It will either install at your next scheduled setting time or you can select "Update Now" before shutting the car off after your drive (if it's completely downloaded by then). 4.2.1 is a gateway update and is necessary for follow-on updates.

Here's the list of available updates showing in FDRS:

Your car is so behind from sitting on the dealer's lot with no ability to get OTAs (dealers do not enable OTAs in Sync while they have the car).

Because your car sat for so long on a dealer's lot (roughly 13 months), before your next drive I would do the BMS reset dance (below) to help ensure your 12V battery gets fully recharged by the car the next time you drive it.

To reset the 12V BMS learned values do this before your next drive:

Without pressing the brake pedal touch the start button to put the car in accessory mode.

Using the left stalk, flash the high beams 5 times.

Press the brake pedal 3 times.

Observe the small red battery icon in the instrument cluster flash 3 times.

Press the start button to shut the car off.

Now start the car as normal and go for a drive (30 mins or more would be ideal). This should fully recharge your 12V battery.

This isn't something you want to do often. Just the once to help ensure your car's 12V battery is getting fully charged after sitting for so long on the dealer's lot.

"Bricked" is kindof a generic term.

Did your car do the 'doors won't open but the battery is not dead' routine that we're seeing with other '23 models? Is that what you mean?

Here's your PTS landing page showing the 24P16 12V battery test program and also your OTA page showing you have two OTAs waiting to get applied.

A couple of weeks ago I completed every avail software update listed via FDRS. Prior to getting setup with FDRS I had either Mike or Rugedraw run my vin and you noted my Modem authorization showed both "Retail Authorized, Fleet Authorized" and pointed out that it should be one or the other.

I thought after all the software updates I completed that whatever glitch was causing that might have gotten reset. Can I get my VIn# 3FMTK4SE3PMA53480 run again to see if you still show that same status?

When I called Ford and spoke to different Reps about the issue none of them felt it was an issue with getting OTA's but Im I noticed my Telematics setting still shows a LOCK and can't be toggled off/on. I'm wondering if it would be a good practice to do a master reset to make sure everything is 100%.

Thanks
B.

Master reset of Sync on your end probably won't help you. And it's still showing both retail and fleet.

Others have had this removed within hours of requesting it. I don't know why you're having this much trouble getting this sorted.

Don't let them off the hook. Tell them you want it removed now and that it's impacting your OTA performance.

Yes, same issue that most of the 23's are facing. Thank you so much! The issue happened on 19th July

Going back to when you first started getting these DTCs it looks like an issue with the SOBDMC and BECM (bold entries).

yeah I don’t get it either. I’ve spoken to more than 1 person and they just don’t want to bother or don’t understand how to. One lady stayed on the call with me a bit and had me reboot sync and said she was pushing an update or something but I never got anything and that telematic lock never goes away. They just stick with the same excuse that they see no issues with my vehicle getting OTAs (which it will do or try once in a blue moon).
So yeah for whatever reason I have not had luck conveying a simple request to make it retail only or it’s not as clear how to do that on their end. ?
