As expected, the only updates they did are the ones associated with the recall. While some people have had luck with dealers doing all the updates, most people get the run around, an excuse, or are just flat out lied to. Ford does not pay them to do updates just because updates are pending. They can only bill Ford if the update is part of a recall or if it address a specific problem.Hi there, I'm a new user and owner. I have had a brand new 23 Mustang since April 2024 and I've just had some issues with 12V draining warnings and my car has just come back from the dealer today, and been told it needed updating. I was under the impression they were all OTA, so I am unsure why they hadn't happened themselves, and why nothing came up when I checked FordPass or my Ford Account?
Nonetheless, the dealership have told me it is now all updated, but I feel it would be a good idea if someone could at least double check that for me please.
