If all modules outlined in the TSB had to be updated what would be your guess for labor hours be for the work? This isn't for billing purposes. I dropped off my car and they are telling me they might need it till Monday. Four days seems excessive. I suspect its a scheduling issue rather than the size of the job.

Thoughts? Experiences?

My dad just had that TSB done earlier this week and it took less than 2 hours. He waited at the dealer and got it back just under 2 hours later.

Edit: And that 2 hours also included a PA state safety inspection.

I had this done back in June and it took just about 1 hr 40 minutes.

BUT... initially they told me it might take 4-5 hours because of how many modules they needed to update and how slow that could be. They wanted me to do a drop off and pickup the next day or something but I told them I'd just wait (brought some work with me) and it was WAY less than their original guess.

Sounds like a Tech/Update roulette game. They'll est high because sometimes the updates just go sideways. Sometimes they'll est high because they have 1 tech, a new tech, no tech, no idea. Sadly once it's at the dealer it's kinda there until they get done.
My dealer had my car sitting on the lot for a week and never called me, because they didn't know it was done.

Sounds like scheduling. The EV techs for two dealers my area work 4x10 M-Th. So I won't drop off on a Thurs, or probably even Wed. Too inconvenient when having only 1 car.

In my experience, so far, the scheduling advisors (I've dealt with) don't seem to do a great job factoring this in when arranging appts and drop-offs.

Had this same TSB done. Ford came to my house at 11am, took my car back to the dealer, did the TSB, and the 10k service, and had the car back at my house by 4pm.

Thought I would follow up on this. I told the service rep I would not be able to leave the car till Monday (which was true! I needed it for work.). They got back to me some hours later that the car would be ready later that afternoon. I appreciate everyone's experience.
