I've been having issues with front camera and cruise control adaptive breaking. The car is at the dealer but I was told there is nothing more they could do so they are trying to get a ford engineer.

Wait for the FSE to assist them. From what I've seen they are working the problem.

While the car is in there they could update the gateway (again) to keep you from getting locked out in the future (that update came out yesterday) and also update your telematics modem (TCU) which might help with the BlueCruise (wouldn't hurt anything in any event).

A couple of things I noticed...that available gateway update is the -FAR revision...that's the one that was causing lockouts...and yesterday -FAT came out as a result.

You may not have an OTA historydue to the 'Fleet Authorized' TCU modem. Normally it only says Retail Authorized after the car is sold. Fleet Authorized seems to keep OTAs from showing up for some people, although some Ford helpdesk people have said otherwise.

And now that you have a GT-PE with Magnaride shocks you get the more or less permanent VDM DTC like the rest of us. Congrats! It is apparently harmless but it's just a DTC that's.....always there.

And as far as GT-PE - does that mean the car has been upgraded to PE? (I didn't, but some sales guys were using the car before me.) That would make a world of difference if it didn't take me 5 minutes just to get through the on-ramp to I-405 and then get in 5 mph traffic, lol.

All of the 2024 GTs have the bigger front brakes and the Magneride suspension that the prior GT-PEs had. There is no more GT-PE model, just the GT. The Performance option is software that unlocks the extra 100 lbs/ft of torque. ??

Understood. But Mike said something about this being a PE.
He was referring to the VDM and Magneride. Those only used to exist on the PE. I assume (I know, assumptions aren’t good) that it’s habit after three years to refer to a Magneride car as a PE. ??

Well your car has a VDM so I assumed....wait did they start adding Magneride to all GTs now? Maybe that's what's happened.

The '23s and prior only had Magneride shocks (and a VDM) on the GT-PE AFAIK.

The fleet thing has cropped up as an issue for some people (strangely not for all though) as the reason they weren't getting OTAs.

I don't know what's going to happen with the gateway update for your car. You have the -FAR waiting...but I don't know (but suspect you can't) just skip it. These updates are incremental most of the time. Meaning you'd have to actually do the -FAR revision just to get the -FAT to show up.

OK. I don't have the ability to do FDRS updates at this time. So you are saying I don't have -FAR (yet)?
