As a Louisianian, I take pride in our once again besting Mississippi at something.
That I-10/I-12 run from Houston to the Atlantic Coast (Jacksonville FL) is child's play for Bluecruise 1-3/1.4

It's true that Louisiana and Florida have the lion's share of the east/west real estate. Ya barely even notice Mississippi at 80mph. ?
Although the tunnel in Mobile is kinda memorable.

Since getting BC 1.3 we haven't taken any long road trips but using it in highway driving in the Austin area still isn't impressing me. It's WAY better than 1.0 but it doesn't like heavy traffic and is still confused with exits/turn-offs and changes with the lines on the road. We will be making many more long trips this fall so I hope to get more testing and maybe it will change my mind. Also it's pretty easy to have very long stretches of BC driving in Texas since we have huge distances between major cities here.

I love BC. I recently drove my son 2016 Subaru Legacy with Eyesight and as much as I saved time due to ICE as much I was missing BC. it would definitely made my 2,800 miles trip much more easier (we did it in less than 3 days)

I’d probably use it more I something ending in “.3” were to roll out. Hint hint.

Also I know Apple made that thing where the page fades in in sections as you scroll popular, but man it’s so massively annoying. Please don’t do that Ford. Hurst let me read the page.

I feel like I do less irrational complaining than most here, but damnit the color scale on this map really pisses me off. Why are we going from dark to light to a different shade of dark as we go from less miles to more miles travelled? Are we just trying to make it look like BlueCruise is being used in more places more often than it actually is? If so, why?

I'd bet the BC map is a reasonable proxy of where MMEs are sold... at the minute there are ~140K of them in the US.

Because the map was created by the same team that updates our vehicle SW

I don't understand why people like this feature - or even use it. You still have to keep your eyes on the road, you still need to keep your hands on the wheel, and you still need to stay driver-alert-ready to re-take control of the car in an instant.

Meanwhile, you're riding in a performance-oriented car without the joy of driving it.

The only time I use BC is for 1-minute moments when the road is straight and I need to stretch my arms or take a big drink of my coffee.

Personally, I would not use BC at all. I do miss the fact that i can use the camera system for parking. I would have paid Ford for that but they would not take my money. ??

This article is referring to BlueCruise hands-free, so while you do need to remain alert with eyes on the road, you don’t have to keep your hands on the wheel.

I absolutely love BlueCruise. It makes long stretches of highway so much more enjoyable. I’ve taken a number of 500-1,000 mile roadtrips in my car, and BlueCruise hands-free is an absolute game changer.

I love driving, and I have a lot of fun in my car, but I’ve never found joy in driving on a highway. ?
