Hey Mike,

A few days after I called in I checked settings and the toggle for automatic updates appeared along with the scheduling option. I wonder if my vehicle is now no longer fleet listed and getting some updates?

I do have the issue of overheating charing phone which I hear is fixed with some updates. Would you or someone be able to double check my vin to see if I am receiving some and if the rest will follow and/or if I have a case to bring it to a dealer and open a warranty ticket because of the overheating cell phone charging?

Vin 3FMTK4SX0NMA64516

Thanks again for all your help!

I was able to get a hold of Ford pro who took a look and let me know that they would process it for me and it might take about a week or so. They gave me a case number so I can follow up on it and they did say once this is done Updates should start rolling in!

Hi,
Would someone mind running my VIN for issues? My 1.3 BC update is not working and Ford says it’s due to a malfunction with my lane assist software. I have to wait a month to get into my local Ford dealer. ‘22 Premium AWD, thank you!

When you say your BC 1.3 update is not working, can you elaborate on that? Does BC work, but not the new features? If BC is not working at all, was it working before the update?

It is now showing Retail Auhorized only...no more fleet. You're good.

You haven't started getting any yet. Newly pushed OTAs normally arrive somewhere around Thurs-Sat timeframe if there will be one for your VIN that week. Don't hold me to that, it's just an observation from watching the digits go by for a couple of years. But that seems to be what happens...

You currently do not show a WACM update for your charging mat in the lower console.

But hopefully some of this other stuff will start showing up soon...like the gateway (GWM) and that APIM (Sync) and then in case you want to roadtrip you'll need that OBCC so you can charge at Tesla Supercharger stations. Not to mention all the stuff you'll need for BC 1.3 to be enabled, (SCCM, CMR, IPMA, PSCM). Hopefully the OTA fairy finds you soon.

So it will do Lane centering, but it will not do lane changing, and it will not keep my settings for recognizing speeds. Meaning that if I have it set to go over, it will ignore that and just only go the speed limit it also will not allow me to be hands-free when I called customer service today. They said that there was some communication or malfunction error for my lane programming, they said I have to go to a dealership to have the software Troubleshot

Your car is reporting a PSCM code, but it was there before the update. The config seems to be correct for the new features to work from what I see. To be sure: For lane change, did you tap the turn signal, or did you fully engage it to where it clicks into place? Lane change works by just tapping the turn signal.

For the speed limit thing, try turning off speed limit assist.

Edit: It is also reporting an IPMA code tied to the attached TSB that states the IPMA may need to be updated and calibrated. Your IPMA was updated with the update, but maybe could benefit from a calibration since this code is new after the update. If you have FORScan, you can calibrate the IPMA yourself to see if it that helps.

Thank you for checking all of this. It for sure doesn’t change lanes with tapping and it will only let me be hands free for 5-7 seconds before it starts warning to touch the steering wheel. Also, it slows way down when I’m approaching a curve or a lower posted speed limit, much more than seems appropriate. I’m not sure if that’s part of the calibration process as well? I don’t have the FORscan, so I’ll bring it in to the dealer

Yea, predictive speed assist is one of the new features. I don't like it....I feel it's too aggressive. You don't have the ability to turn that on or off yet until a future update gets released. Sounds like a dealer visit may be warranted for you.

Is someone available to check error messages for 3FMTK3SU7NMA55442? I just got a SSN message as well as “full accessory power active. Tried turning the car off and on a few times, an eventually after about five attempts the messages went away, and the car drove fine. I don’t see any notifications in FordPass, now wondering if it was a false alarm, HVJB, or something else. Trying to avoid a trip to the dealership if it was a fluke.

Possible Causes
  • Low voltage service disconnect
  • 12-volt battery
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • BCMC
  • BECM
  • SOBDMC
  • SOBDM
My vote is for a low 12V battery SOC..it's currently showing only 69% SOC and that's after you've been driving it for a while.

I would do a BMS reset procedure and then take it for a minimum 1/2 hr drive to hopefully get it charged back up. There could be other reasons it's gotten low...if not driven in a while, or there are loose connections on the terminals (10mm wrench).
