I reserved on day 1 and took delivery on February 25, 2021. 42K on the odometer. While I’ve had a few glitches, it’s been a great car. Having a good dealer helps.
My only real complaint is Ford’s software and how they (dont’t) manage it.

FE delivered in February of 21. ITs currently sitting at 59K miles with many roadtrips under its belt and one house move from CA to UT. I originally did ford options for the car but in August I got a regular loan from my local bank to buy it out from Ford.

I am currently in the process of selling the car because I picked up a KIA EV6, if Ford had updated to 800v batteries for faster roadtrip charging i might have gotten another MachE.

I havent been to happy with Ford and the software updates for the car and bluecruise. After members here started reporting that one of the updates removed the speedometer from the middle of the dash I turned off auto updates until we hear that any of the 2021s are getting an update that fixes it. I have also been disappointed in the rollout of the updates for bluecruise did not pay for any more years. Ive been happy with the adaptive doing almost the same job. I still havent had the recall completed for the HVJB and will probably get that scheduled this month to make it easier to sell. I've never been worried about mine randomly failing. I also have had the driver side seat start to crack in multiple places (first crack started 2 years ago) but hasnt created any large holes/tears.

Another thing that I have been disappointed in Ford with is the constant changing of the trim levels and what options they get. I started out happy that the FE had a few options that the premium and select didnt have but now most of the options that differentiated the cars are on all of them. The big one recently was the seats for the FE are now options for the 25s. I would have liked having a badge on the exterior that also had FE or something. Now mine just blends in with most other red Premiums.

As for visiting the forum, I probably load the homepage once a week and scroll for a bit and thats it.

2021 Job 1 Premium 4X ER IB, ordered Oct 2020, built late May 2021, delivered late June 2021. ~12,000 miles - not driving as much as I expected living 3 miles from work and now retired Jan 2023.
No issues other than recall HVBJB replaced; relatively small local Ford dealer has been very good.
I will probably keep this for a long time.

2021 Infinite Blue here as well! No major issues aside from software updates. Did the HVBJB recall as well, otherwise routine maintenance. Still on the OEM tires, but will probably need to replace them this year (we're at around 33k miles).

Edit: No, actually, @Gimme_my_MME is the real reason I stick around. Their perfect gif selection and oddly specific knowledge will always keep me coming back for more. And they blessed us as I was writing this stream of consciousness mess… Never leave us, @Gimme_my_MME!

I'm still here, got my 21 around august 21 ( can't remember exact date) But traded it in a bit over a year ago for a 23.5 gtpe. Zero issues with the 21.

2021 GTPE owner since September 2021, now at 30k mi. Used to be a summer-only car since had the original summer tires, but finally made the switch to all-seasons a few months ago and it's been my daily commuter car since (22mi each way on the terrible PA roads). Had the HVBJB replaced last summer (didn't fail) as part of the recall. Other than the required yearly PA state inspection, have put $0 into it maintenance -wise. My dealer covers the Ford 10k services for free up to 3 years. Even still regularly use the original "travel charger". So yeah, couldn't be happier with the purchase. Now if I would have been one of those who paid over MSRP back in the day, I would be disappointed in resale value (like any new car). But I pre-ordered in 2019 and paid just under MSRP and it's now fully paid off. Glad I went with the financing instead of lease or options, but understand not everyone had the means to do so. Rarely post to the forum anymore, and read the front page topics about once a week.

I took delivery of my 2021 Job 1 AWD Extend Battery Rapid Red MachE in March of 2021. Being retired and out of the country 4 months of the year, I have only put 24K miles in 3 1/2 years of ownership. The only problem with the car, other than recalls, has been the failure to download any updates after the car was in storage for 3 months is early 2022. It took me 3 months working with Ford and my dealer to resolve the issue. Initially, my dealer’s service department refused to investigate the issue because PTS showed no updates available. Ford instructed me to have the dealer call Ford directly to resolve the issue. The service department manager refused to call Ford. Finally, I convinced the Delearship GM to investigate and he had my car in and all available updates installed the next day. No problems with the car since. My wife and I love the car.

I definitely would think twice about buying another Ford after this very frustrating experience. My biggest issue with Ford is their horrible lack of communication with customers. The incompetence and lying of the service department guarantee's my never going back to this dealer.

Got my Rapid Red in April 21. I bought it knowing it would be my last car. Didn't know I'd last this long (87 years) but here I am and here it is, still going, still delivering what I had paid for. I did get the recall done on the windshield and pano roof and expect that someday soon my dealer will tell me he has a new HVJB for me but I'm in no hurry as Rapid Red is keeping me happy.

I check the forum a couple times a week, mostly the "What's new" tab to keep me entertained and informed. Wow, that SC adapter is wonderful ! I didn't expect it when I bought Rapid Red. I rarely take long trips but the few times I have I've used the Adapter for DCFC and am impressed. Had to get my Ford Edge ICE filled with that gasoline stuff last week, first time since May, hope the Ethanol hasn't gummed it up. Love my car, sorry for those of you who don't have a :sadface:Rapid Red.

Ordered mine March 2020, delivered in June 2021 after I gave my Outlander to my son & family the day before they told me I couldn’t have mine because some child-like brain in IT forgot to include all 360degrees longitude in the e-call system delaying delivery for 2 weeks during which time I rented a van to get my tools in!

I couldn’t give a Tom Tit about software updates, would never fap about the 12V battery condition until it fails when I would just change it, or any other things the Stang community often worry themselves about.

Just put it to work.

And it works.

Goes out fully loaded to the max weight almost every time.

Just turned 100,700 miles.

It’s the absolute gnat’s nads!

Love it!

Just decided to keep it and run it into the ground!

I posted the charging stats, costs etc in another thread if you’re interested.

It’s paid for itself, literally.

Just WHAT a car ?

The forum’s still of interest if not so much use these days but if there’s anything us old hands can offer later owners then I feel it is worth remaining in this space.

Stang community is great even if there are the odd unpleasant posts, that’s social media though, or so they tell me; this is the nearest I get to it.

Enjoy, peeps ?

21 Premium 2WD ER with 45k miles here. Recently had the 12V die on me, but between this forum and YouTube, it wasn't that big of a deal. I had planned to get a new one put in at my 50k service. I took the 3-year BlueCruise for $600, and hope to eventually see one of the many newer versions I've read about on here, as I'm still on version 1. I extended my warranty to 100k, and will either keep the car until then or possibly trade it in for a new model in '26 or '27 (whenever they redo the center display tech).

While I like the improvements announced for the '25 year, I will say that when I borrowed a loaner premium '24 from my dealership I was surprised how many corners had been cut since my '21 was built. Black plastic "mustang" branding in the driver's door lip, no large trunk button on the lift gate, no park assist and hands-free lift gate I knew about already, but the others seemed like they would only save pennies and made the experience quite a bit "less" in my opinion.

The only changes I've made to the car are the little "mach-e" branded door lock covers and brake/acceleration pedal covers as well as a 15" rear wiper blade to replace the aging stock one.
