We just picked up a 2021 Mach E Premium AWD. I'm pretty sure the software is old. No updates show up when checking in infotainment.

Ford sync says:
22177_PRODUCT REVISION: 473

Trying to figure out just how out of date it is and what i can expect to try to get it current.

That Sync version is over two years old. I don't think you even have full-screen carplay/android auto capability. I don't think this car will ever be up to date it you wait for OTA's.

I would not have high expectations that the dealer will help. Ford does not pay them labor hours to update modules just because they aren't up to date.

ECG-24.2.5.6.1 (GWM update) was the last OTA you got. Nothing currently in queue.

You do have an APIM (Sync) update available in the FDRS software list that should get pushed to your car as an OTA next. Although when that will happen is anybody's guess at this point.

Yeah, I've never seen that status before either.

It sounds like your car is acknowledging the download trigger, but so far the files haven't actually been sent.

12V battery is at 93% so that's not a problem.

I'd take it for a drive and at the stop lights just hit the check updates button to see if that prompts a download. This update for your car is not the full 6GB that others are getting because a lot of the files in your APIM were already at level. So for you it's only roughly a 1.3GB download.

It says this download trigger will expire on the 14th of Nov. if that's helpful.

The only thing I could find is that the interrogator log is a file that "contains information about the APIM including the storage, asbuilt, serial number, hardware and software part numbers, as well as strategy and calibration versions."

Maybe it is needed to update things on the server end so that I can be sent the right package? I don't know.
