Two facts jump out at me. The first is that your car's TCU (onboard telematics modem) is reporting that as recently as two days ago it lost the connection to the gateway module (the car's network router that ties all modules together). The second fact is this message in the system that indicates that your car is not properly reporting it's status:
VHA_Not_Current.jpg

The possibility exists that this car simply needs the 12V battery negative terminal to be disconnected for 5 minutes and then reconnected to completely reset everything. I say that because in all the cases where there was a 'lockout' situation, that was actually the remedy that corrected it.

If you do disconnect the 12V battery and then reconnect it, take a short drive and then request another check of your VIN then we can tell you if it looks like the problem is resolved.

You can always contact your servicing dealer and request they look into the matter and ask that they pull up your connceted vehicle health page, and they'll see exactly what I'm seeing.

You do also have a few outstanding FSAs that the dealer would need to address anyway, so a visit to the shop might be the best idea.

Here's the short list of available software updates for your car in FDRS:

OTA failed yesterday, can anyone see what modules failed to update? VIN WF0TR3SU5MMA15273 TIA
The OTA failed within 2 minutes of your car pinging back the server to accept it citing a "release notes validation error". There is nothing you did wrong or could have done differently. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be resent.

You have no available updates in FDRS. You have no OTA history (only goes back 60 days).

You do however have a 12V battery state of charge at only 55%. So something's up with your 12V battery. That low SOC was reported during your drive this morning.
Thanks!

Tons of short trips lately, some FORScan work, and a couple cold days probably caused the 12V SoC to be low. After a long drive today it was upper 80s.

That's pretty much the same thing everyone who has ever used FDRS said BEFORE they took matters into their own hands. ???

You aren't going to brick your car.
Well at least not by updating it with FDRS. ?

Without sounding like an absolute lazy piece, is there some thread or forum where you can find someone to do this? From what I’ve read, dealerships don’t seem like an option to push an update.

Depends on the dealership honestly. If you’re under warranty and can find a problem based around the modules you want updated, you have a good chance of getting it done.

Thanks mike, and any updates pending?
Nothing in the OTA queue...but as you likely have figured out, that TCU in your list should show up as 10.1.1 whenever it gets there. Maybe this coming week? ?‍♂

Hey Mike,
I believe I had it last week. Can you check my past ota list to confirm, please?

Unfortunately I’m just out of my 3/36 warranty. Not sure if it’s worth paying for an extended warranty for this or if it would even be covered

On the 18th you got 10.1.0 which was the APIM update that took you to Sync 1270.

That's the last thing you got. That TCU is next and will be 10.1.1.

Cheaper to buy a Mongoose Plus and a PL6100 than to buy an extended warranty. Most dealers will update modules under warranty only if they directly affect an issue you are having. That could leave out several other modules for which you may have software pending. Some people have generous dealers who will update everything, but those are rare. On the flip side, our friends in HI have dealers who won't even do safety recalls that are required by the Government. ?‍♂?
