I don’t consider it trolling I consider it telling people to stop being such whiners. I was already corrected about 1.1 when it is 1.0.
1. Yes I know you had already been corrected. I needed to set the stage.
2. It's a forum. Whining is a requirement. No whining, no posts. No posts, no advertising. No advertising, no forum.
3. You just did exactly that.
4. So did I.
5. Everything on that list is true, from a certain point of view.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Blue Cruise. Why is everyone so upset? obiwan-true

Bottom line I don’t care.
That's apparent. Lots of people on these forums do care though. Some even object to having promises going unfulfilled. Imagine that.

I never said I had 1.3. I said I have the latest available for my car according to my dealer.
“available” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence, bro.

That’s what we’re pissed about. That the update has not been made available to the 2021s for over a year, despite Ford repeatedly confirming that the 2021s have the hardware sufficient for BC1.3 (and BC1.4).

(And, to be more specific, the update is available in FDRS if you’ve got about a grand in hardware / software to install it yourself - its just not been made available via OTA.)

Which may be true by your dealer. But you could have the actual latest…just saying.

Not that I’d trust a dealer saying your fully updated to mean they actually checked in FDRS necessarily anyway.
Might as well add some fuel to this dumpster fire.

You're*

You have 1.0.

BC 1.3 has improvements over 1.0 like lane change which some like. It also holds position better, handles curves better, and keeps further away from semis.

I like to drive too, but when you drive a few thousand miles, putting your hands in your lap is very relaxing.
This is so true. I've got thousands of miles of BC driving under my belt and it is a game changer.

I also like driving. Putting the Mach-E in Engage and hitting up Spring Creek Road as it twists and turns up and down the river valley is amazing. It's unlike any vehicle I have ever owned

Likewise turning on BC while I'm making my semi-annual trips out to Cleveland along the Indiana/Ohio Turnpike were you got hundreds of miles of straight boring roads BC is amazing.

I am a new owner and use BC to drink my coffee :coffee: without spilling it everywhere. Coming from an i3, I really enjoy driving my MME, it's hella fun up Emigration Canyon on the way home from work. I have noticed that it tends to overcorrect on highway corners (I-80 between SLC and Park City) so I just drive it.

It warms my heart to come across another challenging thread from my old and storied friend @DYohn. Others should engage at their own risk... :like:

Did you mean "challenging thread" or "DYohn is challenged (mentally.)" ;)

I read more complaints these days about forum members being upset that their car does not have the latest and greatest version of BC, or that they are not satisfied with BC performance, or that they are frustrated that they have to frequently get rminders to put hands on the wheel, or whatever.

I have a 2021 Job 1 Premium with what I believe to be version 1.1 of BC (I can go hands-free in certain sections of highway.) My home office is 40-miles one way from my current project site. I drive there on US highways every other day, activating Cruise Control and letting BC keep me lane centered, and when it says "hands free" I relax my hands but keep them on the wheel. Not because I don't trust the system, but because I am old and I think driving a car means driving the car. I have experimented with letting the system slow me and come to a stop when traffic backs up, but I don't like it, because again I am the driver I want to drive. BC works fine for me. I have no complaints. And you know what, if the whiz-bang auto-lane-change and latte-dispenser feature gets pushed to my car I do not think i will ever use it. Because I like driving.

It's other drivers I don't trust, not the MME or BC.
So you don't take your hands off the wheel, don't care about the upgrade features that were promised but not delivered, and don't actually want most of the ADAS features - basically, you don't use most of BC and can't understand why people that want more from it are upset that they aren't getting more that was promised but remains undelivered?

I use it all the time. I just don't like constant whiners. Each car will get it when it's ready for that set of electronics. Or not. You have no control. Enjoy what you have and drive the car.

The thread is literally titled "why is everyone upset?", but it's really just you not listening to why people are upset and telling them to be happy with what they have
