This has the stink of a hardware malfunction on it. Something (Likely a module of some sort) is randomly losing power or memory. I hope a sharp tech can suss out the cause for you without too much more trouble.Wow - this has become a chronic issue. After my original posting, after I returned home w/ my mach e, I went through the reset process and successfully set up PAAK again. All seemingly working ok. The next day, I had my 10k miles service appnt at my local Ford dealer. While the vehicle was there, I GET ANOTHER SERIES notifications (ford pass & email) stating that the same reset of PAAK has occurred and only a remote will operate the vehicle - exact same as incident 1. Ok - well I'm not too alarmed, thinking that the dealer had to do a reset. I PU the vehicle and bring back home and follow the whole process again to set up PAAK - successfully I might add! This was about 2pm yesterday. All seemed good. BUT - I GET ANOTHER SERIES of notifications this morning that the reset/wipe of PAAK has OCCURRED AGAIN (3RD TIME)!! I am at a total loss. I've given up all together on PAAK. Anyone else having a similar experience? I'm hoping that Ford will chime in - my opinion of ford continues it's downward trajectory!
I'm thinking that maybe I uninstall FordPass and re-install? I'm happy to go thru the whole set up process if I can circumvent this continuing issue!
