I am seeing a couple of 12V battery low voltage warnings for the rear liftgate (for some reason), and the current SOC is at 62%, so that might be a factor. When the 12V battery gets a bit low the electrical system starts 'shedding' loads to keep from going completely dead. So you may have something that's causing a drain, or your 12V battery is starting to go out.
Reading through the 12v battery faq probably my adoption of daily charging two months ago.... 2 15 minute trips (granted both with 5-10 minute climate start) and then 40 amp charge at home back to 70%HVB which takes less no time at all really. Probably just not getting enough time on charge. Thanks for the read... guess I'll look into the 12volt stuff for now... ironically car has been flawless this week so far on starts. But I did also hit ford directly.

Hey all, considering purchase of 3FMTK3SU8NMA37922. Appears not to have any open recalls per Ford's VIN look up, but I'm curious how far behind it is on updates. Any assistance much appreciated!
It does have an open FSA for "Charge Cord Stuck" (23B50) which gets all the powertrain modules in the list below updated. That would include the PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, and SOBDMC.

But seeing as how you haven't made a deal yet, my recommendation is to tell your salesman that as part of the deal they will update all the modules in this list (and any more that appear after other updates are performed) until there are no more updates available. And they will show you an empty 'SW Updates' list from FDRS when it's done.

This is a 2022 model, and although 2021 models are even in a worse position with Ford not providing updates, you want to start out your ownership experience with a fully updated car when driving off the lot. Don't let them convince you that Ford will send all of these updates out as OTAs, cause most of us here on this forum know that's a fairy tale that service advisors tell their unsuspecting customers. All of these updates are desirable because they are either corrections for issues experienced in the field, or enhancements to the systems they pertain to.

Thank you so much for the info. It is unfortunately being sold by a non-Ford dealer. I’ve been hearing that Ford dealers are often reluctant to, but is it reasonable to expect that one of the several near me would do it within a few months? I assume also that any issues that occur during the update process can cause further issues (sometimes major?). I’m getting the sense that you might recommend avoiding purchasing it if the updates are not done in advance or am I reading into it too much? Huge thanks, again.

Could someone check mine? Haven't received an update since late May. No failed updates either.

I have not heard (within the last year) that clearing all updates has caused issues. I do know of several dealer service advisors that tell their customers that however.

good times. The plot thickens, I discussed the deferred recall and updates with the sales guy. He says they had the neighboring Ford dealer do the outstanding recall last week. When I brought up the outstanding updates, he says they called the same dealership who “told them how to do them” and now they are done. This occurred within about 90min of first bringing them up. Is that even possible? If there is any chance you are able to recheck the FDRS I would be hugely grateful, but understand if you have others to get to. Thanks!

That is utter and complete BS. As a car salesman myself, that's ridiculous and stuff like this is the reason we get a bad rep.

They didn't, can't and aren't going to update it. Is it up to you if you want to buy it or not as it is. That car is on Sync 23352 which is only one version behind the latest one and even received the OTA for Bluecruise 1.3 in September, so it is not terribly behind anyway.

They turned the car on today and it reported itself to the cloud. It is not reporting any codes of concern and it has a clean warranty history indicating the previous owner never had any significant issues with it. It has an open recall that you can use to get a Ford dealer to apply some of the few updates you're missing. I see no red flags that would prevent me from buying that car.

IMO, of course.

If updates had been performed they would have immediately disappeared from this list.

Hi I’m curious if I should have received any kind of update since purchasing my standard rwd 24 back at the start of August.

I’m yet to see the option to select cabin temperature in updated app so believe I’m missing something that initiates the OTAs.

My VIN is WF0TR1R47RMA11159

any help is much appreciated. TIA

@Mike G Interesting.....it shows an IPMA update pending, but the OTA dashboard shows he got the BC 1.3 OTA. PTS shows the IPMA strategy is on ABS still. That's a little strange, no?

Edit: The details of the OTA says it rolled the software BACK from BAE to ABS? I'm really confused. lol

@Quark I may have to take back some of the things I said earlier.
