Well the proof in this case is the almost two-year-old revision of Sync software your car appears to be running. Add to that all the other updates in the list below, many of which have come as OTAs (like the door modules for example).
.
.
.
I finally made it to Ford today, and the service guy who took my car in checked the Sync screen and said "It says, there are no updates. And when it says this, then there are no updates". It took me a while to make him understand that when the vehicle can't connect to Ford's server, it will never know about newer software. Holy, I am really concerned. So many technicians I talked to in the last 10 years in Canada are stuck on a 1980s knowledge "the one computer in your car is called ECU".

Happy New Year. I was told by my dealership I have all the latest updates. That said I am a little weary about this. If someone would be kind enough to check for me, I truly would appreciate it. My VIN # is 3FMTK3SS9PMA48851. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. I’ve a 2021 UK MME and have had no updates for some time. Dealer has said that there aren’t any, but that flies in the face wig Ford UK’s own notes.

Would someone be able to run a check on UK updates for VIN: WF0TR3SU6MMA54289

Can someone recheck my car 3FMTK3SU9PMA57194
Had to disconnect battery to get connectivity back, so far everything is working.
Not sure what I was supposed to be looking for...are you concerned about whether your car is talking to the cloud or what?

Your car seems to be reporting to the cloud okay.

Here's the list of available software showing in FDRS this morning:

Had a weird instance 2 days ago. Got a wrench icon "Service Vehicle Soon" message. Something about one pedal not working (I think) - and when I put the car in drive it started moving forward (uphill in my driveway!) on its own! Good thing there was nothing in front of me! Also had a game loaded on the main screen and the Ford Navigation was active, think it was trying to take me to my dealer location. Tried canceling the route but got reply that "Sorry, navigation is still loading".

2 restart cycles seems to have fixed everything? Just wondering what the hell happened...
For reasons that are not clear Ford started the new year off by apparently archiving all the vehicle DTC and health data that happened before the 1st. So today your car does show some 'historical' (as in "Not currently active") DTCs for the rear and front drive motor controllers but again these are not currently active. Your 12V battery is showing a 75% SOC. Again, since the rear-view data lookup has been cutoff at midnite on the 31st it's not possible to go back further to see what might have happened.

Regardless, saying the magic words "1PD Fault" along with TSB 24-2187 to your service advisor should be enough to get them to update the powertrain modules in the list below (PCM, SOBDMC, BECM, SOBDMB).

Here's the list of available software updates for your car:

A subset of the powertrain updates and a gateway update is all you show today.

Do you know for sure that your BlueCruise hasn't been updated?

Thank you! So an awful lot to update yet the car says nothing to update!
What the car is telling you is that you have no updates that are OTAs.

That doesn't mean that there aren't other available and beneficial updates that could be applied using FDRS....simply that Ford has not chosen to package them as an OTA and send them to your car.

The majority of available updates don't get sent as OTAs due to Ford's issues in getting them properly coded and sent to the appropriate VINs.

Ahh okay, thanks. So I guess the only way to ensure car is fully up to date is to buy one of FDRS. Dongles and rent 48 hour access to FDRS? Or to find someone with both and experience in London UK :)

Do you know how I can check to be sure?
Chicken and egg.

Your car was updated by you as well as the dealer within the last year. So assuming you did (or the dealer did) every available update to the IPC, CCM, CMR, IPMA, and PSCM successfully, and that you don't have any updates for those modules right now...you may indeed be on the latest revs. that would enable BC 1.2 (at minimum 1.2 but could be higher).

Do you have a current BC subscription to try it out with?

Like I said, it's 'chicken and egg'. You could have the latest revs. and your car could be BC 1.2/3 capable, but if you don't have a current subscription you'll never know. And if you're wanting to confirm that you're good to go before renewing a subscription I'm not familiar enough with all the software revisions for the '21 models that would conclusively determine that one way or the other. We need to gather info from others (VINs) that do have BC 1.2/3 working and have an active subscription on their '21 model to use for comparison with your cars module software revisions to know for sure.

There are UK peeps on this forum who have done, and I assume, still do their own updates.

I should have added...that maybe some of your MME compatriots there in the UK would consider knocking out your list for a modest consideration and your funding of a license to facilitate the updates. There have been 'update parties' reported on this forum before... just a thought.
