Your car's build date is 3 Jun '21.

You have two open "recalls" (FSAs) one is for the replacement of the HVJB (23S56), (surprised that hasn't happened by now and they sold it to you like that) and the other is for a reprogram of the powertrain modules (24B42) to address a concern with the car unexpectedly dropping out of 1PD mode (if you use that). Both of those updates would reprogram the powertrain modules as part of the repair process.

Here's the list of available software updates showing in FDRS:

Thank You! They are going to schedule in the recall now, they claim some misunderstanding about it being done even though I asked them twice before leaving.

Ummmyeah.....they weren't supposed to sell it without doing the 23B56 update. It's the law. It's because it's a Safety Recall. If this was a Ford dealer that sold this to you, then they are liable for a fine if it gets reported.

Hi Mike,

Thank you so much for your reply. Do you know if these updates failed or just never attempted?

Thanks again!

Hey everyone! Just picked up a new to me 2021 Mach E a couple months ago and really enjoying it so far.

On the way home from work today a warning light popped up that turns out is a "Stop Safely Now" light. I didn't lose power and made it safely home. Upon restarting the light is off now. Only thing maybe out of the ordinary is I may have smelled something vaguely ozone-y/electrical a couple weeks ago when driving.

Someone recommended that I reach out there and see if anyone can look up any error codes my vechicle is sending out. I'd really appreciate it!

VIN: 3FMTK1SS6MMA00935

They were never sent to your car.

The only alert in the health reports is about your washer fluid being low.

It's likely the error you had was transitory.

Thanks for looking that up! It's strange nothing came through. Last night around midnight I got a "high voltage battery warning" that came through the Ford Pass app. It seems like something is definitely going on

I’m about to bring our car in tomorrow to have the dealer sort out a failed module update they ran causing 12V drain issues, could somebody look up 3FMTK1S53PMA85828 and let me know if anything is clearly out of date? They’re saying it is the rear camera module, I’d like to double check their prior work. The thread is https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/can-a-module-software-issue-cause-12v-system-drain.41452/
You had an APIM OTA on the 3rd (10.1.0). So your car is getting updates.

Your car is reporting so many network issues that they tend to run off the page.

The list is too long to show here. And it's been that way everyday your car has reported in when you've driven it since the repair on the IPMA and then the CMR.

They'll likely need to get the tech hotline involved.

They will likely need to update your powertrain modules to see if that corrects the issue. I'm not seeing any alerts this morning. Make sure you save the alerts from FordPass to show the service advisor.

They do already have the tech hotline involved, thankfully, that’s the only reason I have the vehicle. They were good and stumped so reached out for help but due to the holidays it took Ford a while to get back to them so they had me come get it since it was drivable just lit up like a Christmas tree in FDRS.

Thanks for checking!

hi there,

Would you mind checking mine? I was told it all updates applied but then I got a 4.2.1 power up 6th dec.

WF0TR3SU8PMA08998

I was also told the brake recall had been done, but it hasn't cleared, ive got it booked in on Monday (different dealer) to do it if it isn't.

Would be interesting to see the window sticker if available also :)

TIA!

Your car did receive a powertrain update (updates to the ABS, SOBDMB, SOBDMC, SOBDM, BECM and PCM) on the 15th of October after which the RO# for FSA 24B60 (brake performance update) was closed out. So yes, your car did receive that update.

You didn't say where you are seeing this listed as not completed. Is it FordPass?

The 4.2.1 OTA you received on the 6th of December was a gateway (GWM) update.

When you say you were told that all 'updates applied'...that likely meant that all updates that Ford was paying the tech to apply under warranty or a customer satisfaction program (CSP) were done.

That's 'Service Advisor speak' for we did all the updates that we're getting paid to do, which is definitely not all the updates that are available to be performed. There has to be a 'bill payer' for the labor.

Here's the list of currently available software updates for your car in FDRS this morning:

@raj.s You'll likely note that there are powertrain updates in your list of available software in FDRS. That's because after your car was updated, another set of updates for the powertrain were released. This happens with powertrain updates roughly 4-5 times a year. So your car did get the brake performance powertrain update set applied back in October, but now your list has a newer set of updates for those same modules.
