I had a charging fault, stop safely now message, red battery and car on screen all at same time.

I took it to dealer today , they just called and said they installed all available updates.

A few weeks ago I got info from here saying 11 updates needed, on a 3 month old MME.

Could someone check my vin to see if it is indeed update free.

3FMTK3SU2RMA19583

I will pick it up in the morning.

Thanks!
The only update left in your list this morning is an update for the RFA (Bluetooth) module. It was on the original list I provided to you. They likely just ran out of time to do that one.

Thanks! Really appreciate your help with this.

Got the invoice this morning. The invoice said they did it, no big deal. Glad they did what they did.

I do not know if that update will do the OTA thing.

There have been OTAs for the RFA ...just don't remember seeing any recently. If PAAK and things like the car recognizing your phone when you walk up to the front or rear doors (just one press on the door button, not repeated attempts) is working okay then I'd say you're good.

on your MME there's just a TCU.

and nothing showing on the Expedition...but there is a GVMS warning on the BCM for some reason.

You can likely clear that by running the "Read the Configuration Data" tool in FDRS...it sends your current config back up to the cloud server. The GVMS error would likely disappear after that.

Can I get some help with 3FMTK3SS6MMA06567?

It was towed to the dealer for a SSN warning (with total loss of power) Replaced the LVB, dropped the battery and replaced the BECM (said showed burn marks), now got text from service rep they are running tests, they think they know what damaged the BECM, show SOC in battery cells at 80% except one at 60%. I'm not sure what that means or what DTC they are seeing and what they need to do to repair it.

Thanks for any help!!
Just an update, Ford authorized dealer to replace battery array, ordered new battery array service kit. If anyone is able to run the VIN for DTC alerts, I'd be grateful! Seems like proximate cause had something to do with charging at fairly cold temperatures (teens), to which it should have been resilient.

I bet these are at the same dealer some others have asked about. They seem to have dozens of lemon / buybacks. Huntley Ford in Illinois. Here are two good deals. Too good, maybe.

What say you, kind person(s)?

I ran it but all of the DTCs are historical and not currently active. You do show BECM and SOBDM DTCs. Are you talking about DC fast charging at those temps or is this at home?

3FMTK4SX4NMA16694 does not appear to be a lemon/buyback/RAV (Reacquired Vehicle). HVJB was replaced in Feb of '24. No other concerns noted or repairs made beyond that.
Here's the list of available software showing in FDRS today:

It does not appear that 3FMTK4SX9NMA38626 was a buyback either. No evidence there were any sort of major issues that would result in the original owner returning the car. This car has not had the HVJB replaced yet that I can tell, but also doesn't have the 23S56 FSA outstanding to get it done...so maybe it didn't need it. It did have the IPMA coaxial cable replaced due to a pinch (this was a well known issue at the time). But that's really all there is...no "smoking gun" or indications that they are anything other than solid used cars.

Here's the list of available software updates showing in FDRS for that VIN:

The dealer you mentioned is not the one that serviced either of these cars previously. Both of those cars were serviced previously at other dealers prior to arriving at the dealer selling them now.

OTA Priority Update 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE (APIM) says it's currently downloading...but with a 12V battery SOC of 46% you might have a problem getting that to apply.

Suggest doing the BMS Learned values reset and then taking the car for a drive of a half-hour or longer to get that 12V battery back up to at least above 80% SOC so the update will process.

BMS LV Reset:
Without pressing the brake pedal, press the start button to put the vehicle in Accessory mode.

With your foot off the brake, flash the high beams with the stalk 5 times, and then depress and release the brake pedal 3 times, and observe the small red battery icon in the instrument cluster flash three times to acknowledge.

Press the start button to shut the vehicle off.

Start the vehicle and go out for a drive to completely charge the battery up.
Here's the list of available updates in FDRS for your VIN:
