Yes. That should have been the first thing you did when you got the car. Factory Reset.

Piggy-backing off some previous owner's settings is definitely not advised.

And that's the reason your car is not reporting status...because you aren't the original owner who set the car up initially. I have no idea why salespeople don't know that needs to be reset when they take a car in.
Gotcha, thanks. I’ll make sure to reset it tomorrow. Anything else I need to be aware of besides the instructions in this thread?

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/factory-reset-how-to-procedure-and-steps.31724/

I always factory reset my previous cars (no Fords) but I hesitated with this one due to reading that I’d lose certain features for 14 days and having to perform stuff on the website and the app as well. I’ll post an update once the car is reset. Thanks again!

Anything more than ACM sitting?

It’s away this week coming for recall work but after that I’m still hopeful to bounce up a few notches on software. :)

Build date 12 June '23. GT (not a PE). No warranty repair history beyond routine tire rotations, fluids, etc.

DTC indicating a possible issue with the USB port in the console not working properly, should be checked out.

Here's the list of available software for this VIN in FDRS:

Thanks Mike!!!

I thought the losing features thing was happening to people who got locked out of their FordPass after several attempts. I've had to do Sync factory resets on both my car(s) and my truck a couple of times over the last three years, (due to OTAs) and it never resulted in losing any features.

When you do the factory reset you will also have to delete and re-setup your "Home" location in Nav because that's tied to your charging schedule settings, which will also have to be re-established. Otherwise you'll find that when you plug the car in, it will ignore your schedule and try to charge to 100% everytime it's charging.

It looks like the ACM tried to OTA itself and failed again.

I was hoping for an APIM or two. I wonder why it's not being offered much more.
?

I'm not seeing any OTA activity for the ACM at all. The last OTA you got was the APIM (Ford Power-Up 6.2.1) on the 13th of January.

We are talking about VIN WF0TR3SU0MMA19392 right?

Yeah, last week ACM was sitting to be FDRS'd but I hadn't gotten round to it. It seems hatched on the screenshot so I just assumed maybe it had tried itself.

Thanks for looking. I'll try again after the dealership does it's recalls :)

That ACM GVMS warning is not unusual for the Mach-E right now. I see that all the time when looking up different VINs. It means that the server either has missing asbuilt info for that module, or the asbuilt it has is corrupted somehow, or Ford has placed that block on that module because they are working on something and don't want people to try and update it until they're finished.

One GVMS block for something inconsequential like the ACM is one thing...there are other times though....

Oh that’s looks fun ?

Ford must have known I was trying to use the FDRS fast method to catch up and got in there first to block it ?

My TCU update failed and had to be retried but it worked after checking the part id - that wouldn’t knock it out or anything? FDRS seemed to think success.

No, if it went through the second time after a retry I wouldn't worry about it.

I can tell you how to get rid of the ACM GVMS warning....but I really think you should leave it alone. It's not hurting anything...and I assume your radio is working okay?

Yeah it’s mostly the APIM for the darker icons I want. Eventually it’ll come :)

Hi Mike
I just stumbled onto this after 2 weeks of ownership. My vin is 3FMTK3R42RMA16284, so I kindly ask for my car's information.

Should I do the factory reset?

No reset for you, you bought new. Factory reset is for folks who bought previously owned. It's likely that neither the original owner nor the sales team that sold it the second time thought about doing the factory reset (or even knew that it should be done).

You have an OTA for the BCM that's been triggered (24-PU0121-FTDI-FX) and if you went to the car now and waited till this icon was showing on the top row of your Sync screen:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others Connected_Vehicl

And then selected the Software Updates screen you'd be able to hit the "Update Now" button. This update supposedly takes 7 minutes.

"Your vehicle's battery management is now upgraded to optimize battery charge for receiving software updates, aiming to make the update process more seamless.
Your FordPass personal profile now remembers your last settings, ensuring your Remote Start recalls your most recent profile to prepare your drive just the way you like it."

Your build date is 16 May '24. Your 12V battery is showing 91% SOC.

Here's the list of available software in FDRS for your VIN:
