Wondering if the block on my TCU has been removed.

I saw some posts where you mentioned the possible need to run the Read the Configuration Data routine to another forum member. I wonder if my manual changes to turn on BC 1.3 might have tripped up the process, though I didn't make changes to the TCU.
Not yet.

I can tell you that the TCU OTA you were supposed to get...expired today. It was going to be 10.1.1 and had been in your queue since the 10th.

You didn't mention FORSCAN did you?

I'm thinking it's 12V battery related...but I could be wrong.

It looks like they cleared the DTCs around 0820 this morning. So not sure what they're doing now.
Nope never said forscan. Can you tell if they updated any of my computers?

Dealer just finished the newest CSP on my car. Do you guys mind pulling my VIN and seeing what happened on the back end? I also asked them to update outstanding Powertrain modules. @Mike G

Hello Mike,

You were highly recommended by a friend!

I purchased what looks like to be a Job 1 21' and am having buyers remorse with the lose of some nice features. Anywho, I brought my car to the dealership from an email that I was able to get BlueCruise. Left it there for a few days and said they had to get the regional tech out because some update modules were locked or something. Either way, they said my car couldn't get it even though it is equipped with it? I also still have the old andriod auto setup where it only takes up a part of the screen instead of the full screen. Im just frustrated the functionality of thise car seems to be bad. Could you poke around the back end and tell me what you find please?

Running the routine cleared the block and made the TCU update appear. Applying it now. Thanks for the heads up on the routine.

edited to add:
If I had not sprung for a license and had the needed equipment, would my TCU have remained blocked indefinitely?

So from what another NZ member said...they don't do OTAs there? Is that correct?

If so are Ford of NZ willing to catch you up by applying all the updates (optimally starting with the Additional Updates list at the bottom of the table)? Because your car is behind.

If they aren't doing the OTAs that most of us are getting, they ought to at least be willing to get you current using FDRS. All those updates in the Additional Updates section would have come as OTAs here in North America, as well as a significant number of the ones in the table above that.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know what updates are required ?? My understanding is there is no OTA updates in New Zealand. I asked my local Ford service centre to complete the updates identified and they've said No - as they "do not perform updates unless they are FSA-related or directly linked to a specific concern" (email correspondence below).

I'll now be going back to the dealer who sold me the Mach-E two weeks ago to ask whether they'll complete updates through their service centre eg at the next scheduled service.

It's been disappointing coming from a Tesla vehicle with regular updates to potentially few updates for my Mach-E (via OTA or in the service centre) ?? Otherwise I'm loving the car and the change ??

Any advice on how I should reply to Ford?

Are you the original owner?

You may need to perform a 'Factory Reset" in Sync and delete the car from your FordPass app and add it back and then enable the settings so that your car can report to the cloud it's status

I have a Swedish one and there is the same issue - Vehicle health status is not available over the US PTS, but local dealers can see everything. And I doubt they can lock your FordPass account for that anyway. You'd better check with our local FordPass support.

Nope I wasn't using a 3rd party app. I was using what your dealer service uses.

Thanks for reminding me about the Swedish privacy thing. I'd forgotten that.
