Thanks again, is there any way we mortals can check SOC of LV battery, rather than having to rely on the kindness of strangers?
thanks, Mike
I got the LV SOC up to 93%, but never did get the BMS LV Reset successful. No blinking battery icon and when I checked the days since battery reset, it still shows 433 days. Any suggestions on getting the BMS LV Reset to activate? (Yep, got me an veepeak OBD check BLE +, works great)
thanks, jim

Can you confirm the exact steps you took to reset the BMS?

Good point, sorry, should have included what I did, per instructions I have seen in multiple places:
- Without pressing the brake pedal, press the start button to put the vehicle in Accessory mode.

- With your foot off the brake, flash the high beams with the stalk 5 times, and then depress and release the brake pedal 3 times
- observe the small red battery icon in the instrument cluster flash three times to acknowledge.

I did this process multiple times, maybe didn't hold my tongue right?
thx, jim

Call off the dogs! I got it - speed of the steps is apparently very important. I varied the time between the steps and got it.

Mucho thanks to all that helped this poor ole WV boy.

Please can I ask if anyone has advice on how to progress this update? It has not completed but then refused to progress over the following days.

Thanks

Hello all, I'm seeing the dealer on Monday because FORD's OTA desk doesn't show any new updates for my car in the last 60 days and I clearly received the 10.1.1 update within the last couple of weeks so they're going to see why the two aren't in sync. Was wondering if someone could check my car for any missing or pending updates that I can tell them to process when I talk to the service tech. My VIN is: 3FMTK3SU1PMA01220

Thanks!

I don't see in the system that you got that OTA either (no history showing).

I don't think a dealer visit is gonna fix that.

Here's the list of available software in FDRS today for this VIN:

OTAs were cancelled. "cancelReason":"MasterReset(2)"

Same reason was given for all four OTAs that got cancelled.

Hi Mike, first of all thank you. Also, that's very interesting as it confirms my suspicion that my car and Ford aren't in sync. I've ping-ponged between the OTA help line and the dealership as to how to resolve this and finally settled on dropping my car off on Monday so they can open a service request through the TAC (Technical Assistant Center) process. I spoke directly to the service manager and he personally set up my appointment. My main concern is that software updates build upon previous updates so if Ford doesn't show I received 10.1.1, I may not get specific updates in the future because my car is still "waiting" for the 10.1.1 update.

I guess I'll see what happens next week.

Thank you again sir.

Thanks for your quick reply.
The actual car config I guess you get via FDRS. But what Ford platform can you check to see what's stored at the mothership?
Change the file extension to .ab from .txt, to see it as the system intended.
