You are absolutely right. Even the dates being on the same page are a day off. Absolutely no big deal as long as nothing goes wrong or the schedule doesn't change.
I did not care 1 bit because I think my car will be right when I get it.
BUT you now see how these miniscule things.

You are also right that it only means some to the small amount of people that have reservations.

Oh Well, Just received another email pushing manufacturing back another week.

Probably better to get it when there is less salt on the roads anyway. ?

WHAT! Dang, all this time. I thought $50k for a kidney was cheap, and thought it strange kidneys came from Mexico ...
and I now am back to wondering why I work up in a tub filled with ice and a big scar

On the date thing: Who would notice besides those of us on the forums here?
As a professional front-end developer, I would. As I've been told many times before: I'm a special case.

You are Wicked Smart....as we say in New England! :)
While I was born and mostly raised in Dearborn, my BFA in Digital Media is from Emerson College. So yes, I am wicked smart. ;)

Not only the hold up with the several hundred Mach E's for "quality issues" but I get a email from Ford every week for past three weeks pushing back my Mach E's production time. First it was to 2/15, then 2/22, and now March 1st. THings must not be going well at the plant. I thought they would be ramping up production.

Never complain about getting too many status updates from Ford!

On the date thing: Who would notice besides those of us on the forums here?

For the other 49k Mach-E customers (and Bronco customers not on forums) that only use ford.com's reservation page to track their vehicles (and calling their dealer) how would they notice the difference if they only get 1 date.

Sure those of us here who check 3 or 4 different trackers by the minute notice the difference.

Thus I'm sure Ford's thought is that, in the grand scheme of things, who will notice??
I think most anyone would notice when the date from that one source changes (i.e., gets later) multiple times (my experience anyhow). Knowing that I would be likely to notice, it would be nice if Ford would bother to tell me why they have changed my estimated delivery date (that they gave me) four times now. Doing so would be considerate and smart. I can understand transportation problems. I can understand QC problems. What I cannot understand is Ford choosing to not share any information about any of my four delivery delays, none of which have been accompanied by any explanation (or apology) from Ford. My first Mustang was a 1965. That was in the days of F-O-R-D commonly meaning "Fix or Repair Daily" or "Found on Road Dead." But, it was a great car. What might F-O-R-D mean today? "Found Out Repeated Delays?" anybody out there feeling more creative than that?

I was hoping to get my AWD ER during the winter so I could try it in the snow. Not much salt used here in Madison Wisconsin anymore. Just got my fourth delay (no emails though).

You are venting about a different date thing. Yes its been frustrating that the date has been bouncing all over for many people (fortunately for me, mine only bounced twice so far).

The issue I was discussing, however, is the same data appearing different in different places (check the forum tracker and it says 2/1 check ford.com and it says 2/2, etc.).

Bummer, Started at 1/31/2021, then pushed to 2/8/2021, now pushed to 2/14/2021. If I get the quality car I expect then I am good.

You are not alone. I asked my dealer and they had no idea what’s going on.

So, let me get this straight (as one of those few hundred customers with a problem), my car is still at the factory and it will take at least 8 weeks to solve the problem! I have waited 14 and half months and received zilch in the way of communication about the problem. And this "executive" thinks they are doing a good job?

The only comfort I MIGHT find in this, is that mine has already been in production jail for 48 of those 56 days.

A bigger question that I think is really important is WHAT part had the quality issue, and PLEASE don't tell me it is a quality problem with the battery supplier! I will be transporting my family around in a vehicle where we are sitting on Lithium Ion batteries that can "Halt and Catch Fire". Those familiar with the early days of the PC may find some humor int the phrase, but in those days it would not kill you!
