HVJB replaced 31 Jul 2023. I would want all of these updates done...but realistically, I doubt they'll do that.

Here's the list of available update in FDRS for the GT:

and the Select:

Is it possible to see what version of the Power Up software I am on for the GT? I can’t seem to get a clear answer and I’m not able to use the Apple Maps EV Routing whatsoever like in the Select.

I would take it that since the part was replaced in July of '23 that it is the very latest there is.
For the GT, the HVBJB was last superseded in Ford’s system in mid-late November of 2023 to LK9Z-10C666-C. Not sure about the other trims, but I think they were superseded at the same time. ?‍♂?

Wondering if someone can check my VIN for pending updates? Last OTA was in October 2024 and Ford told me to wait a few more months. Particularly interested in anything related to 12 volt battery drain issue. Thanks in advance.

@Default Do you know if in New Zealand, other Mach E's have a Sync version newer than the one in your car? Maybe you can look through local dealers and get me the VIN off of a couple of them so I can compare? Depending on the country/region, Ford does not have the same Sync software available as they do in other markets. I think your Sync version is way too old to be the most current they offer, but I have no to know for sure without comparing it to similar vehicles.
I don't know if anyone has a Sync version newer than mine. I could post on the NZ Mach-E Owners FB group and ask people to check their "about sync" screens if that'd be helpful?

There was a report on March 16 on the NZ Mach-E Owners FB group of someone getting an OTA update in NZ. Sounds like nobody else has received an OTA update before (at least nobody else has posted about it). Apparently it was a GWM update - version string "ECG-24.2.4.10" was included on the Software Update screen in the vehicle.

Here's some VINs of similar aged Mach Es for sale in New Zealand:

Hey there, I haven’t received any software updates in months. Can someone please check if there are any issues with my car that are preventing this? Maybe I just need WiFi extenders, there are no updates available, or actual errors with the car. Would greatly appreciate any insight!

That IPC update may be what's keeping other things from showing up. Maybe getting that done during your upcoming service might help.

Wi-Fi extenders won't help. If your car was going to get an OTA it would show up in the OTA dashboard and nothing has been offered to your car in over 60 days.

After replacing the battery, dealer has now determined I have the dreaded junction box issue. Will still mark my calendar for a 3 year battery replacement. Thanks!
Ummm...okay it's pretty strange that the P0AA1 code wasn't reported in PTS but is a DTC in FDRS.

Haven't seen that before.

Hey all. Was wondering if someone could check my vin again and tell me if things look up to date now. I took my car to the dealer and they said they went thru fdrs and updated everything. Just want to make sure I'm finally going to get OTA updates and hopefully the new blue cruise since to me it still seems as nothing had been update for example I still don't have the ac controls where you can turn the know for and things like that so not sure how I'm supposed to get the little updates like that. Vin is 3FMTK3SU3NMA54773

First VIN is a 2023 on Sync 22280. 2nd is a 2022 on 22242 and the 3rd is a 2023 on 22280. So perhaps your car is fine then and nothing to worry about in terms of what I thought may have been an issue. The 2022 does not show pending updates for the Sync modules like your car, but the 2023 cars do. Based on this very little amount of research, it seems that for now, Ford is only providing never Sync software for 2023 Mach E's in your region. I cannot say this with complete certainty, but it looks like a strong possibility.

Can someone check my F150 Lightning? I just ordered a Mongoose cable. Wondering how much time it’s going to take. TIA!

Thanks for looking into it. Car was with me at the time of originally posting.
Yes I see that now. I wish you had mentioned it was at the dealer already. It could be a damaged high voltage cable or component. They did not continue troubleshooting the isolation fault, they only need a simple ohm meter which any decent shop will have on hand.
After having to have the car towed to multiple dealers with no results, I finally got an updated from my service advisor and he says the AC compressor is causing a 12V battery drain which is why the vehicle has stopped working, won't start and is showing the SSN message. This does not sound right to me. Thoughts?

Thank you so much, I truly appreciate this insight and I’ll bring it up to the dealer when I take it in at the 30k!

It's strange that I can download that file all by itself directly from the web, but your techs FDRS can't do it. Maybe they need a better internet connection?

It's 1.6Gb
Thank you Mike G! They retried the update the next morning and then it went through flawlessly.
They said the server connection is way faster and more stable when america is still asleep. ;-)
So according to FDRS I guess I should be up to speed now.

Additionally I got my 12V battery replaced, so I do hope for any future updates I will get them over the air without any issues.

Picked the car up yesterday and I am really happy with it so far.

Can't wait for bluecruise and according to the german forum the rollout for 2022 cars and even 2021 cars has already started.

Keep my fingers crossed that it will be my turn anytime soon.

Again, thank you very much for your support. Without your help I would not have gotten everything updated and therefore might would have had trouble in the future getting up to speed.

Have a nice day!
