Should BlueCruise have a 85 MPH limit?

I've never driven at those speeds. What does it show for your miles/kwh when driving a steady 85 mph?

Here in Vegas, we have the 215 freeway which is basically a speedway. Official speed limit is 65 but everyone goes between 80 and 90.

I've had no issues with keeping control at those speeds since it's mostly driving in a straight line.

About 8’ longer than at 80mph. Doesn’t seem like much of a difference to worry about if you’re gonna use BC. I wish it worked past 80 - for my once in a lifetime, epic west coast road trip. Around th east coast 80 is adequate.

Texas has an 85MPH speed limit road, but BlueCruise maxes out at 80. Should Ford increase it or leave it at 80? BTW, SuperCruise does has a 85MPH limit.

Ford should change it to 85 MPH

How different is 80 to 85?

On a 300 trip, going 85 mph saves you 12 whole minutes vs going 80.

I have a spreadsheet that calculates travel time at different speeds. Because of course I do ?. Nerd alert!

I drive at 65mph and has challenges taking on curves that are rated for that speed, meaning no warning to reduce speed. I can't imagine doing this at 80mph or higher

Truly 85 is only in use one or two places I'm aware of and I've never driven them. 75 is the top on most freeways. I don't really trust BC and Ford SW at that speed, but you can't trust most of the other drivers either.
