Just got back from a trip to Europe. Kept my eyes out for EVs. London, Brussels, Lisbon. Saw ONE Mach-E, in Lisbon. In London, saw 3 Porsche EVs on one street.

They’re everywhere in the Netherlands - Tesla cabs all over the place.

We just returned from Lisbon and Porto and there were EVs everywhere. This includes cars, buses, and tuktuks. Charging stations at curbside. The Uber we took to the airport was a BYD. Portugal has very progressive EV uptake.

There are loads of EVs in London and if you saw a fast response ambulance (paramedics) in London you might have missed that it is a Mach-E. I see about 10% or more of the cars around my area are now EVs

I just spent a couple weeks in the Netherlands and Scotland. I was surprised how few EVs of any kind were in evident in Scotland. However, in the Netherlands, I saw a lot of electric VWs and BMWs.

I saw a white MME just like mine in both countries on this trip though which was cool... and when I was in China last year I saw a white MME as well.

conclusion... white is clearly the best color for an MME o_O

About half of my first cousins in Scotland and England own EVS. Of my US cousins, aunts and uncles I’m the only one with an EV. ?

When I was in Norway last spring a year ago, I saw plenty of BYDs, XPengs, and assorted other Chinese EVs. On the surface, they looked to be of high quality and advanced contemporary design.

With the way the winds are blowing currently in the USA, EV incentives are on the wane while the infrastructure is on the upswing, generally. It remains to be seen if the latter could be too little too late, leaving us to lose ground to the rest of the world in terms of an accelerated path to further adoption.

Flying home from London right now on my third trip to Europe this year (mainly was in Italy this time).

Removing Teslas from the equation and as Mike (Tampamike) said above, they are everywhere in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam I’ve taken three Mach-E cabs and on the back bumper, they all had a “rent a cab” sticker. One of our drivers said it was his favorite car. He gets to the cab yard early so as to make sure he gets a Mach-E for the day! He was surprised we all knew how to open the doors. Told him I have one and my friends are familiar with my car. They have public chargers on many corners and you bring your own charging cable.

I mainly go to Italy when I’m in Europe and don’t see nearly as many there but I do see quite a few Fiat 500e’s and Renault Twingo ZE’s while traveling around the country. They also have some public chargers on corners but cables are supplied with them. Rapid Red seems to be the most popular color in Italy as far as I’ve seen.

Earlier this year when I was in Ireland (Dublin) two of the taxis we had were BYD. Very common there. Seemed like a nice car but a lot of hard plastic inside and weird designed door panels (at least I thought). I’m sure it was one of the cheaper models.

There were quite a few EV’s also in Spain but can’t remember seeing a lot of Mach-E’s.

Germany mostly saw BMW’s (quite a few) and only a few Porsches.

Spent the last two days in London (been many times) and our taxi driver had an EV6. I actually thought it was a nice car. Not as nice as inside as the Mach-E but first time I’ve ever been in one and It was new. Was his personal car but I think most of them are in London. He loves it and charges at home each night and costs him between 6-10 pounds. He said if he charges it on a public charger costs him around 18-20 pounds and only gets 75 miles. Saw quite a few BMW’s there, a few Porsches and one Jaguar. As Dave (bumblebee) said above you see paramedic ambulance Mach-E’s all over the city. I saw the EV3 and really liked the size. Why we can’t seem to have more small EV‘s in the US, I don’t know.

All that said, there were WAY more Teslas in every country I’ve been to than any other EV Especially for taxis. Bottom line, I see a ton of EV‘s in Europe, just not a lot of Mach-E’s. ?

The car at the left of the Mach-E is a Renault ZOE, 100% Electric car. The car at the right is a Renault Twingo and there is a good chance it's the electric variant. I bet you saw many more EVs than 3. You just didn't notice them :)

They have so many European brands that you might have not noticed. And Chinese too.

I saw several Mach-Es in London last week and both Uber trips I took were in an EV. The area I stayed also had residential street parking L2 chargers - maybe 1 or two a block?

Came here to say this. I've seen plenty of EVs (and even a couple brands) I'd never heard of while traveling. Even rode in a BYD cab in Mexico City. Thought the Li L9 looked really nice. Shame we'll never see that in the US.

Btw been in the UK twice in the last two months and saw tons of EVs, especially in London, but only a handful of MMEs.
