@Ford Motor Company Their needs to be a dedicated front camera button on the top of the screen. You have this button in all your other 360 camera equipped vehicles.

If it’s one thing Ford has shown us, it’s that they are willing to miss self-imposed deadlines.

I noticed they haven’t give themselves any deadlines to miss on getting 2022 vehicles their active park assist. I at least have signed document from them promising it for my 2022 that I can bring to a lawyer if it doesn’t happen.

Note the comments say third quarter and fall but not what year.

Oh I noticed. I’m surprised the email for this Sync update said November 2022. Including a year is a big risk for Ford.

They have until December 20th before they miss their latest promise of “Fall”. If I hadn’t deleted all my twitter accounts last month I would bring it up to Emma Bergg and ask her why they missed her last promise.

I didn’t delete my Twitter account yet because … Disney, but it’s becoming darned hard to justify keeping it even WITH Mickey and friends. I just wish the remaining sensible companies would stop and leave Twitter to Tesla and MyPillow

Don’t wait too eagerly, Ford has a habit of sending them months in advance of the actual update. They seem to think people need 6 months to prep for whatever changes are coming like this is 1997 lol.

A Ford dealer won’t install it - period.

In early November, a local Ford dealer updated my vehicle's "GFM" so now I'm able to open the frunk using the 7-8 on the B-pillar. But they didn't tell me they did this update, and I think they only did so while trying to diagnose the concerns I'd reported (which were totally unrelated). So I think it was just random luck.

I can only open the frunk from the pull handle and from the B-pillar. And maybe from inside the frunk... I haven't tried that, yet. The FordPass and SYNC options aren't visible.

This is what every Ford rep or doc has said about the Frunk.

5 quarters late, moving into the 6th. They’ve done well with the ignore it and pretend it doesn’t exist tactic.

Wow! So, “officially” since at least December 2021, and here we are in December 2022!

And soon it’ll be 2023. And it’ll be later then. This is as early as it’s ever going to be late ever again.

Follow the link. This picture is from a Lightning with the Sync update installed via FDRS.

Also, there's no guarantee that the MME will have the camera button. The 2023 MMEs don't have it, but they may not be on the exact Sync version that we'll get in the update.

Are you able to take a video to show navigating the interface? I’m curious to see all the changes in depth and the general interface speed to see how much it has improved.
