Actually, the Mustang Mach E front trunk does get warm. It would be nice if there was some way to climate control it (not refrigerate it) so you could use it to carry groceries home in the summer.
I use it for putting take-away/fast food in so that it doesn't smell up the car. Which is another reason I would love a way to open it without having to get into the car @Ford Motor Company.

It's better be without bugs. I don't want to see hoods flying on the highway.
To be fair, now I'm a little curious if this is partly the reason they have the hardware but it's not being used. Even though an automatic frunk isn't new to cars, I'm sure the last thing they wanted on a new production vehicle is the hood popping open at 80mph while they're simultaneously working out bugs elsewhere.

I wish I could. Not sure why it always pops up for me but it is super convenient...
I have noticed my “drive mode” screen pops up when I shut the car off but I don‘t know if that’s truly a recent development or if I just didn’t notice before.

Well that’s cause there are no buttons at all ;)
Hey, we have two - one for the glovebox and one for the hazards...

And, I'm sure you know this but we can also do it from the main screen and the fob, which I wish they would activate on the MME

Is drive mode on the same tab as the access menu? Perhaps it just reverts to the last used screen on that tab...

I thought Tesla’s only came with a card, not a fob?

I have a 2015 Model S which came with a fob. Not sure what the new S come with, but the 3 and Y come with a card, yes

My 2019 Model 3 did not come with a fob. We have the phone app and a card. I may have used the card once in two years.
And, since there is no fob, we can open the frunk on the app.
Can't wait til we can do the same on the MME.

Do you have your radio on or off while driving? I ask because my car remains on the radio or navigation screen when I shut down. I’m wondering if this behavior is conditional based on what mode the screen is in at the time.

Generally the radio would be on.

Thanks. I wonder why they all don’t behave the same. 🤷‍♂️
It might be because sync4a is self learning? Offering you frequently used option in tiles on the home screen? Maybe if you've used the frunk button a couple of times the system automatically comes up with the option tile when you shut the car off? Ford has been boasting the intelligence of the sync 4a system for a while now so this doesn't seem unrealistic...
