I ordered in May of 2021 and just received my built date. I've watched a lot of people get their cars weeks after ordering. Some dealerships have priority over others. It's crazy.

Another facet are dealerships that used a good portion of their allocation up before you placed an order.

My car was declared "built" on 3/1. Ordered on 5/29. 9 months and a few days to built status. Still hasn't shipped.

Mine was ordered May 17th. I've waited just as long.

What is the current trend on the delay between built email and shipped status, and then delivery? I defensively stopped paying attention when the car went on hold.

About a week after my new delivery window I'm supposed to leave for Japan for a month. It will inevitably come in then and I'll have to jump through hoops to get x-plan and price protection (looking into getting a power of attorney set up so my wife can purchase the car in my name). In reality, I'll probably pay to get that done and then it will be delayed until weeks after I get back.

Just got my build email. Ordered August 27, but Ford shows I ordered Sept 27.

September 27th is when your 2021 got converted to a 2022.

Paid over $5.30 a gallon Saturday to fill up. Just one more reason it would be amazing if they could dig my car out of purgatory and get it "built".

My delivery date disappeared with all the other 1/3/22 week builds but I have yet to get an update from Ford.

Not really, but I do see on Ford.com under my account/reservations there is an ETA of 5/19-25

Where on the page do you see that? I logged in to my account, then followed account / reservations, and see nothing about an ETA. Am I doing something wrong or does that only show up once Ford acknowledges that the car has been built? Thx.

I just had to call Ford Customer Service today to see if I could get any new info. Interestingly, the last time I had the VVR checked by my dealer it showed 'off-site'. The Customer Service Rep, who was very nice by the way, said the car now shows 'received' which she said means it is received at the ramp for shipping, but it is waiting for a microchip. I am not sure if that indicates some slight progress. That at least sounds like they do not have to go back on the line to put the chip in when it is received, and they can just install it at the ramp.

It's only up to $5.89 here, but in West LA it's $6.99 a gallon. Those are European prices.
