Will there be build updates throughout the next week ("your bumper has been installed")? Does Ford send any pics of the build or upon finish? This is my first ordered car so just curious how much Ford involves the customers during the build process.

On my previous order, I got a "Your vehicle has been Built" email 4 days after my build date, followed by a "Your Vehicle has been shipped" email 3 days after that.

Just to add on to @Ninja4hire response, there are a few other things you can do to track production-- like to check to see when your modules table populates here: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt When it populates with a bunch of data, you know you car has gone down the assembly line.

And also you can periodically check https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking to see if your status has changed (updates there often come before you get the emails from Ford). If that site doesn't work for you-- often people have issues accessing it-- many use this third party tracker instead: https://ordertrack.app/ (one benefit of this other tracker is it connects into Palsapp, which helps you determine when your car has arrived in Kansas City after it is shipped from the plant in Mexico.

If you really want to dive into the weeds, review the 3/14 and 3/21 build week threads. They have been incredibly active and the thread OP's maintained a lot of details as to how each build week progressed. Long story short, Ford's current tracking is terrible, but people on this forum have done a good job of documenting what is possible.

Hopefully that's all of us now with stickers. Expect modules to populate about a week after your sticker was issued. If all goes well, "built" statuses will follow within a few days.
