Thanks for the feedback. Not sure it will help, but can someone remind me how we can track once it ships? What app do you use and what inputs do you need for it to work?

You might want to review some of the older posts on this thread for more details-- I think our build week group has done a good job of sharing info and resources along the way.
In a nutshell these are the best resources I've found so far:

• ordertrack.app-- more reliable then the shop.ford tracker and has the same basic info, plus it includes a shipping information section that automatically taps into Palsapp so you don't have to use the other workarounds people have posted about on the forum.
• Ford Customer Service Chat-- you provide your VIN and they can give you the latest update on your vehicle from the VVR- essential for getting railcar numbers if you want to track
• KCS-- I didn't use this but you can contact KCS Customer Service via phone to track a railcar number-- involves speaking to a live human but can give you a more specific status on your vehicle as it goes from Cuatitalan to Kansas City. For me the trip to Kansas City took about 12 days. At that point you follow the Palsapp info to see when you car gets delivered to the next railyard (Norfolk Southern in Birmingham, MO for NJ deliveries)
• Norfolk Southern has a customer service line for tracking railcars as well-- all automated. This will help you track your vehicle from Kansas City to NJ. (You'll have to get your railcar number from Ford Chat).

Mine was also delivered to Birmingham on a Tuesday morning and by Thursday night it had shipped out (got the railcar # Friday morning).

I am also sitting in picked, via OrderTrack. I have not dug into Chat or other trackers to try and get better info. With fingers crossed, I am assuming that there is progress which the barely functional Ford tracking system is incapable of communicating. ????

I had thought(hoped for) the same thing but the rail car ford says the car is in, hasn’t even been handed over to BSNF yet as of last night, which means it is still sitting unreleased at Argentine. ?

Got my rail car number from ford chat and called Union Pacific and had the automated system also fax me over the rail car details.

Hoping it will come sooner than the dealer estimated delivery time !

my mme is probably on that train as well. unfortunately ill be in hawaii if those estimates hold

I had thought(hoped for) the same thing but the rail car ford says the car is in, hasn’t even been handed over to BSNF yet as of last night, which means it is still sitting unreleased at Argentine. ?

So now that's at least two people (@FrostyICE and you) who have a Ford Chat status of delivered to Argentine Ramp but still listed as picked in Palsapp. I wonder if there is a Palsapp issue for these cars bound for BNSF/Argentine and you're just not getting marked as delivered?

Also, I've seen in various threads that railcars carried through BNSF are really hard to track. Apparently BNSF does not have any tracking hotline themselves so you have to try calling one of the other railroads (CSX, Norfolk Southern, UP) in the hopes that they somehow can give you an up to date railcar status (which makes no sense to me, they are totally different companies). Seems like some people successfully get this info from other railroads and others fly blind until delivery, other than what little info they can find out from Ford Chat.

Yeah the BNSF tracking was an employee lookup. They said it doesn’t show as being released to the railroad yet, which meant it was still at argentine. ?

I’m picked since 4/30. Updated ford chat is that I’m at Richards Gebaur, which suggest if my understanding is correct that I’m waiting be delivered to Muncie for the train ride to SoCal.

Hopefully it arrives before your trip, I've heard some horror stories of dealers selling their customer ordered cars if you don't pick them up right away.
