My current car's registration expires this week...so yeah... I kinda need it ASAP, haha. Refuse to renew with the NCDMV.

You should be good until the end of the month with your registration. NC gives you a little bit of a buffer. We ended up having a house built. I actually ordered the car a month or so before we ended up signing the papers on the house. They just both happened to want to be on the same day. My closing is the 18th so hopefully it comes in just after that.

Still no rail car information as of today May 10 2022. Ughhh.

May 11 2022, still sitting at Ramp 6P in KC, MO, no rail car information but delivery date to dealer is still May 19 2022, which I find very hard to believe at this point. Welp reckon I will be waiting some more.

So I decided to be a masochist and jump on ford chat yet again just now. Ordertrack showing pending and picked as usual. Rail car they gave me 15 days ago never showed up in BNSF or anywhere else… but this was today’s update…

Could it be?!? 20 miles from me…. I refuse to believe it!

So I decided to be a masochist and jump on ford chat yet again just now. Ordertrack showing pending and picked as usual. Rail car they gave me 15 days ago never showed up in BNSF or anywhere else… but this was today’s update…

If it’s accurate something clearly happened during shipment where an entire railcar was either mislabeled in the system or somehow, doubtfully, entirely missed. I’m hoping that it was a clerical error of some sort and you receive a positive update shortly. ?

The only thing I can say is that the Ford Chat says my car is in Muncie, KS, but Union Pacific showed me off-loaded this morning.

Speculation: Once you get a target delivery date, they look to it to set schedules. I mean, it’s only about 450 miles from KC to Denver, but my car was in KC since the end of April.

My car is supposedly offloaded from final railcar, and is waiting for truck transport to my dealer. Sales manager called today and confirmed my price protection, and sent an updated quote with the corrected price. He did mention that it can take 1-2 weeks for the truck transport.

The estimated delivery range was 5/13-19; could be pretty accurate!

Even though there are two other in this build week and near me getting their cars this week, I may have two wait two more weeks due to delays. That doesn't mean I'll have any more patience that I have poorly displayed

Just got an update from Ford. My vehicle is sitting at the Port of Wilmington, DE just 10 miles from my house. It is scheduled to arrive at the dealership in Bel Air, MD sometime between 5/13-5/19. Exciting stuff!
