Not doing Ford options. But I was offered 0/36, .9/48 or 1.9/60. Was also told price protection and we are x plan members. But when I try and complete the purchase online, I noticed the price is the 2k higher (Increase in December). And we ordered in October. So obviously not completing online, guess we will wait and do the finance dance at 4:00. Hubby is my finance guy and he says the same thing all the time, "if it doesn't look right I'm walking away" ya, but but but 10 other customers are lined up waiting.?. Really hope all goes according to plan. Meanwhile I'll be checking out exterior and interior or else it's gonna stay there and be fixed.

Just got done with Ford Chat. Still at Ramp 6P as of May 17, 2022, yesterday the ETA was May 19, now today, the ETA is June 16-June 22, 2022, basically went up by 30 days. Super frustrated, could have waited to install my charger.

Ford just sent me a "purchase your Mach-E now" email, so we are getting close. Just double checking the thread hive-mind, if I went through Ford Options for financing I still should be eligible for the federal tax incentive? I am thinking about doing it because it is a quasi-lease with the ability to let go of the car after 3 years. Is anyone else thinking about doing Options rather than a regular purchase?

Yes. They created Ford Options specifically to have a "lease" style financing plan that allows the title to be in your name and receive the tax credit.

I chose Ford Options because of the flexibility, less $ down, and a no questions asked option to return the car at the end of the 36 month period if for some reason I'm not satisfied with keeping it.

Not sure. Right now there's texts and emails flying back and forth. But I'm finally out of it as husband has now taken over finance and he's currently trying to nail price down b4 we go at 4.

Awh darn, here we go again. My delivery range was just pushed back 1 month... now 6/8/2022 - 6/14/2022.

Hopefully it's a chance for Ford to undercommit and over deliver; otherwise, Deja vu all over again!

Just checked my Ford account:. Delivery slipped from 5/13-5/19 to 6/6-6/12. (Sigh)

And it's only waiting for a 40 mile truck ride. ?????

I'm still wondering if my dealership can get their act together long enough to actually prep my car before the weekend. It's nuts.

Tell hubby to have the dealer GSM or Finance manager check Smart Vincent for the current rate and incentive (Ford Credit incentive, not Ford Incentive) for using Ford Options, for the zip code where your vehicle will be registered.

While I know you mentioned you'll be doing your own financing, you may have money on the table to use Ford Options... getting up to $2500 incentive. From there, you can then refinance with your lender of choice, still as a new vehicle and most probably the same rate you've already been approved for.
