05/23/22 Build Week Chat

My order for a PE standard battery has been pushed back from 5/16/2022 to 5/23/2022. Ordered on 12/6/2021. We'll see if it slips further. Never did hear from Ford or my dealer about the park assist deletion.

What. The. Actual. F**k. Like others, I’ve gone from 5/16 to 5/23 and today bumped to 5/30. Now my concern is that Ford will announce the week my MME gets delivered, “Here are all the exciting changes we’re making to the 2023 Mustang Mach-e!” and I’ll have a much less desirable vehicle.

If my build week slips again I’ll decide if I give a crap anymore and keep my 28,000 mile Honda Clarity PHEV for the time being.

Mine pushed to 30 May also. For those of you in this order process for the first time, just strap in and get ready for changes along the entire process….production week, build out, shipment and delivery. It’s not a rigid and well-oiled process yet. But…..the vehicle is well worth the wait.

The information that you receive from Ford in your account will be as good as what the dealer normally has…..so caution to calling the dealer all the time….they don’t have better info generally.

Like every one here, mine got pushed back from 5/9 to 5/16 to 5/23. I ordered Select on 1/10/2022.

I was 5/9, then 5/16, then 5/23. Now 5/30. It's a ride. Throw your hands in the air and enjoy it.

Still holding strong at 5/23, but absolutely expect to be pushed back possibly into June given what is happening with everyone else. But eh, what's it matter... I also fully expect the vehicle to get built, then go on a six-week chip hold, then take three months to get to me... not that I am not secretly hoping that everything will be a lot faster than I am anticipating, but I am trying not to set myself up for disappointment. At least we're onto step three and something is actively happening with our orders.

I’m happy to join the gang. Ordered Premium ERWD in IBSM on 1/26, scheduled 5/23. Hasn’t changed since 4/18. I went by the dealership on Friday. System showed car would be delivered on 6/13. We shall see.

Jon, I’m not going to place any bets on that delivery date. My salesman said it’s been spot on. I find that hard to believe?

I don’t think my dealership had a lot ordered. Only had 2 additional pending orders. Both in CO, coming on 6/13 as well.

Hopefully, we all stay in the 5-23 build week come Thursday. Looks like not much building is going on this week (5-9-22).
