Ended up taking delivery today, loving it so far!
Dealer wanted to charge $279 for wheel locks, I said no, take them off. they dropped them to $239, still said no, showed them an online link for $50, we settled at $79.
they applied the interior protection and wanted to charge me $499I said I did not order it and they backed down.
my Mach-r is missing the cargo cover on the tailgate, perhaps it’s not present in the base models?

No email from ford but my order seems to have changed status to shipped in the last couple hours. Fingers crossed there’s no delivery delay!

Ford Chat gave me the rail car info when I pushed them for it. Once I had it, I used Norfolk Southern’s automated to get the current location. That info can be found on another thread but I copied it below for you.


NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

Important thing is to only use automated system, if it connects you to a live person. Hang up. That was guidance given by the thread as well.

So TTGX is most likely the rail car "our" cars are on- aka Florida bound that managed to get shipped in that 7/26-28ish ship out batch?

Looking for guidance... New Here! On my window sticker it shows Im in the 7278 grouping, but I didn't see anyone else post they are in this groupoing. My window sticker list build date of 7/25. But when I look on ford it still says in prodcution which is 3 weeks from the build date. Most people seem to have an updated built or shipping status that were built this week. Anyone else in the same boat as me? Any feedback would be helpful to calm my impatience.

I'm not sure on that. Just know it is with Norfolk Southern currently. Not sure who it will switch to in Jacksonville for those that are heading further south. Would assume it would be Florida East Coast Rail (FEC). Checked NS tracking this morning and the train was just northwest of Atlanta. Based on the schedule on the website, the train should be in Jax by Thursday morning

I’m batch 7190 and I’m still in production as well. I technically went into production on 7/27 according to the Ford order tracking site, but OrderTrack.app says “70 days and 13 hours” (and counting).

I posted awhile back that I thought all 7/25 week vehicles were built but not all were shipped before the plant shutdown. Seems like that’s what happened, since Cuautitlan opened back up yesterday and all of a sudden people started getting status updates. Hopefully they spend the week getting the rest of us on the trucks and trains. ?

Alas, finally received a shipped email after being built on 7/25. ETA window has remained the same of 8/19-8/26, we shall see if it arrives in that timeframe. Any idea how long convoy takes?

Yeah I am wondering, because now mine shows similar. I wish palsapp still worked so I could see if it was in KC. Although Ford Chat just last week was saying still awaiting shipment.

I assumed all vehicles went through KC first, but after not getting an update and just today seeing it shipped it made me wonder if they are just coming via convoy from Mexico since it is a straight shoot up

Since mine hasn't updated I wonder how much truth was in the Ford email about 2 weeks ago that supply chain issues were holding it up. Several other's on here received the same message.

What batch were you? Mine was in batch 7133 and never received that delay email that you’re mentioning.

I'm a Michigan delivery as well, mine is still listed as "In Production" as well. By a lucky chance, I set up the FordPass app and entered my VIN awhile ago and whomever was driving it at the factory accepted the connection so I could see the location. It was still in Mexico Friday, and then it was turned on and driven again just a few hours ago. It's still in Mexico, but I'm hoping that means it was driven on to a truck.

I hope that is the case, as I still haven't gotten any updates. The eta is still for this week, but I'm not holding my breath...
