Finally moved to built status after being stuck in production for 3 weeks. Now awaiting shipment with an eta of 9/3 - 9/9. Batch 7172.

This morning a ford chat person was like "Yes your car has an ETA for Aug 24-30" I then asked if there was any detailed info or rail car info and I was given that.

"Railcar # UCRY503744 (Norfolk Southern Corp ). And is in Muncie, KS"

So I always find it funny that they apparently HAVE info, but do note share it innately, and only upon direct asking.

Oh well.

There is some info for what is most likely all SE bound cars built/shipped in the 7/25-ish timeframe.

You have to be eligible for it, either through a Ford employee friend or family member, or an organization/employer. You get a code from them that proves your eligibility. I think the cheapest way is the Mustang Club of America, which is something like $25, but I also think you have to wait a few months to get X-plan through them.

Ahh reading up its 90 days. Wish I would have known when I put in my order haha... not like the dealer would have hinted at this...or anything... maybe there shnould be a sticky here? perhaps there is an I am dumb (most likely the case)

Again I pass the note that is in all posts about calling norfolk southern, do not stray from the automatic system, do not talk to a live person.

My car is Salt Lake City bound! Union Pacific railcar "TTGX979171 loaded and released for movement Aug 16" according the phone tracking... Now I can stop bothering Ford chat and bother the UP automated line every day... @hapa1989 Are you in the same railcar?

Day before yesterday I checked on the Status and finally it went from Built to shipped. Now just waiting for it to arrive to the dealership I got a Mach E Select Dark Matter Grey Standard distance and Rear wheel drive. Tomorrow I am getting a quote to add 250 Volt line to put in a Level 2 Charger to be installed to the side of the house by the Driveway so I can charge at home. Good thing about it is that we also have Solar at home so if I am charging at home during daylight hours I would be charging with Solar too. If you can't tell I am very excited.

I also am in 7254, however unlike you I have not received any updates in the past 3 weeks. Mine went into production 7/29, still in production. However dealer provided info it was built, ETA is 8/29-9/04, Just waiting for tracker to update someday.

FWIW, I’m in 7190, so I think they’re slowly churning through the backlog of updates for builds
