I'm a newbie machE owner with just 350 miles on the clock... but loving the experience so far. Just wanted to comment on a significant driver behavior change I've seamlessly adopted... surprisingly! When I first began test driving various EV's in the market, I was introduced to 'drive by wire' or 1-pedal driving... which I literally hated. It felt abrupt, unnatural & a counterintuitive manner of driving. But then as I 'learned' that driving an EV like other internal combustion cars is very different when it comes to deceleration. Specifically, it doesn't slow down as quickly... not nearly. So it seemed more of an accelerate & then brake harder & more frequency than I was comfortable with. So what the heck, I thought I'd give the 1-Pedal approach a shot. Now I'm a complete convert. So much smoother & better than any other manner of driving I've ver done... and I've been driving for 40+ years. The only time I'd switch the driving mode back is when on the highway. So give it a try for driving around town in your machE. You just might surprise yourself as much as I did. I'm a convert for life, now. And as a premium benefit, I significantly increased my range by 10% so far (yes, it's early) using the 1-Pedal drive mode.
