You want to get over what the car thinks is 90% SOC. CarScanner is one way. I also see the value in FordPass API. I think you would also be fine if you put the battery on an AGM charger and let it fully charge and sit for a few hours at float voltage before installing. Sometimes hard to distinguish between the easy way and the nerdy way for people who want to see more...so reading the faq, you need car scanner and obd to get the percent SOC? Or can you just go by voltage?
