They were supposedly going to stop using the term "power-up updates", but there was no mention of them removing the numerical references.

Best thing they could possibly do. Just use 'updates' and give us a random hashed number. Done.
Everyone here would know the same thing they know now about these updates. Next to nothing.

I received 6.8.0 on sunday after 7 failed updates and then this update this afternoon

Posting them is helpful because it helps the person who is tracking all of these in GitHub. I also find it easier to remember what the release notes say, even if they aren't very descriptive at all, rather than the update code.

I believe it is credible due to this post from Gimme in the Lightning forums when @GDN noticed an OTA from back in December was missing the "power-up" wording.

This installed on my job 2 21 premium overnight. I was surprised because I’ve been sitting on a failed 6.8 install for two months due to a software issue that Ford’s OTA/Engineering team can’t figure out.

Same. 2021 Premium Job 2 that's been failing to install (or stuck on?) 6.8 since December. I got an email for a survey about it too. Idk what they wanted me to say in the survey since this update doesn't add anything visible to the user.

I went to the store, then got an email 20 minutes later about an EA survey. After checking, I saw that I did get the update. I guess EA still likes me, despite the rude comments I got on this forum about my EA access.

I don’t think anyone on here would be able to give you an accurate answer unless they have access to Fords internal system. I’d say a decent chunk of the people on this forum are in EA though.

Just got it this morning, along with the survey less than 20 seconds after. (GTPE, 22')

Hoping it fixes my broken front camera monitor fault so I can use BC again....

We had an issue where blucruise wasn't working and they replaced the camera as well as 2 cables and we were up and running flawlessly. Apparently if you've ever had a windshield replacement the cables can be damaged easily. Ours had never been replaced though

Does anyone know if this is a no cost repair, since it was damaged during windshield replacement. Mine fails over big bumps, which to me shows it is the cables.

This update really trolls the people who miss the centered speedometer. While installing, the IPC just kept switching back and forth.
