Does anyone know if this is a no cost repair, since it was damaged during windshield replacement. Mine fails over big bumps, which to me shows it is the cables.

It was covered under the warranty as we are still under 36k miles. I would say the windshield company's insurance should cover the repair if they damaged it.

I believe it is credible due to this post from Gimme in the Lightning forums when @GDN noticed an OTA from back in December was missing the "power-up" wording.

You're right, the PowerUp moniker may go away. We'll see. I really don't care but would find calling them OTAs much easier.

As for the earlier comment about not numbering them any longer, I've seen no sign of that. However, there are X.y.x updates and separate PU-updates. There's no indication that is changing.

Oh, what I said is that there was no mention of them removing the numerical references; only the power-up terminology. I had to go back to the post to make sure it wasn't a typo on my behalf. I guess I could have worded that a bit differently and clearer, but yes, the xxx and PU references as staying as far as we know.

Woo-hoo, finally a Power-up that got released in Europe almost simultaneously with the US! I got this one two days ago, but otherwise we are just waiting for 6.4.0 on this side of the pond.

Amateur question, but does getting this download imply you are up to date and have received all the previous ones?

Nope. It's not bound by numbers sadly.

Nope. Not at all. It only means you have this one. Priority Updates (PU in numbering scheme) are usually stand-alone PowerUps.

I got this update, but I never lost the center speedo, I did turn off automatic updates because I didn’t want to lose that part of the UI, then when it was offered, I just said the hell with it, run it. I still have my center speedo if I want it.

My 22 GTPE got this update (forced) today while in the shop for a failed parking brake harness redo.

...A couple of weeks ago I took my (new to me) '22 GTPE in for the HVBJB. They said I needed the 22p31 parking brake recall also. OK... I haven't had any problems parking before then.

Well, they really messed up the parking brake because it hasn't worked since and explodes with error codes every time I stop. I finally was able to get time to make an appointment and dropped it off this morning. Also, I told them I was not getting my OTAs. I was on 6.4. Hours later, this update popped up on my phone. I have no idea what other changes have been made regarding the OTAs. It couldn't have been that many updates because they only had the car for a couple of hours.

My service rep told me doing the above OTA would restart the software updates for my car, and the parking actuator is now burned out so they ordered a new one.

Maybe it's BC 1.51 or a new 7.5-second WOT limit. LOL

Got this one today as my first update since Oct 24 6.1.0. 2021 Job 2 non-EA. We’ll see if the taps start flowing now.
