25 Mache Premium awd - Powertrain malfunction

Began my lease in August, today got the service vehicle soon meesage and powertrain malfunction message in the app. Drove it 10miles to work without anything noticeable.

scheduled a service visit tomorrow. Assuming i can just get the codes scanned quickly to figure out what’s going on.

anything i should doing/checking in the meantime?

my lightning had a battery issue over the summer and the lightning forum was able to get my info to ford and seemingly accelerate the diagnostics and parts needed

Same here just seen the alert this morning on the way to work, drove about 5 miles and didn't notice anything either.

I will be scheduling a service appointment as well once the dealer opens.

Have either of your cars received the DCMX-25AD update just before the alerts occurred?

Yes I received an notice for an update maybe 2 days ago and I have my updates set to automatic @ 3am, this morning when I got in the car it said my battery percentage (67%) was too low so it didn't do the update.

According to the release notes of that update I’d restart the car and see if you still have an error.

The alert went away later in the say.
My dealer reached out to me this morning, apparently this is the result of a recall. He said its recall: 25c71
They scheduled a mobile service to do the update for this friday.

This morning on the way to work I had the Powertrain Malfunction error but car drove fine on the way back home the alert was gone and the car still drove fine. Stepped back out to grab some dinner car drove fine, on the way back home for the restaurant I noticed how tight my steering is almost like if I had no power steering.
