4.1.2 - Only Small "Cards" or Widgets Now?

Just got 4.1.2 - working ok, but I have one issue I'm wondering if others have. Prior to the update, I had large "cards" or widgets on the display:

Now I only get small "cards" or widgets and cannot expand them:

Are others experiencing the same issue? Thanks in advance for any input or suggestions.

Yup. Lots of discussion about this already. Hope you weren't a big fan of seeing the tire pressure or much audio info.

Well it's classic with any update of UI, some are happy some are not. That's life

Seems like there is still room to add some info to those small tiles, like psi, but even without it I kept it in that mode in normal use for the larger CarPlay/nav/etc. I’d hope they will continue to refine those now that they have gone to one setup (even if moving to Google for new systems next year.)

personally I think they should get rid of the tiles completely and find a new way to display that info in a compact way. For example, on the instrument cluster screen like every other car I've ever had.

Give me as much space as possible on the main screen for the map, CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Looks much better this way. They just need to add back the info to the small cards.

Simplifying the UI is for the best. Easier for manage code and could even be better for performance. One less thing to have to keep loaded in the background!

I received the latest 3XX, 411 and 412 in quick succession and have found the interface becoming more intuitive. The settings before were so buried that I had to give myself quality time in the garage to find them.

I think the UI is an improvement since i always ran the cards in the minimized mode. But give me something more to look at on the dash, that would be a good place for tire pressure, or audio track info. like basically every other car on the market.

I see nothing with with offering the user choice. The new UI takes choice away. That’s never a good thing.
