Looks that way. I think it may be all GTs going forward. I don't recall if any from the 4/18 group are showing movement, or if there are even any GTs in that group. Are all my Batch 5303 GT friends still stuck in production?
I'm a 4/18 GTPE still stuck in production. There are a few of us from that week still stuck.Looks that way. I think it may be all GT's going forward. I don't recall if any from the 4/18 group are showing movement, or if there are even any GT's in that group.
Today's update: left Harrisburg, PA today. So some progress past few days. Not sure where the train stop is in NJ but I assume this goes to Newark, NJ and waits there for a truck to take it to the dealer?Update: Thanks to @rlarsen5000 for this post: this post. I used the automated system and seems like my car was in Conway, PA yesterday. Not too far from NJ (distance-wise at least; time-wise, who knows).
Yup! You’re close!!Today's update: left Harrisburg, PA today. So some progress past few days. Not sure where the train stop is in NJ but I assume this goes to Newark, NJ and waits there for a truck to take it to the dealer?
Excellent progress. You might be the delivery tip of the spear for the 4/11 group; I don’t think I have read of others who have departed KC and zeroing in on their home states. I decided to have a 1-on-1 phone conversation with Ford chat to try and pry more details like a railcar from them; it was painful.Today's update: left Harrisburg, PA today. It’s frustrating for sure, unfortunately I would say rent a car…the chances of it being delivered, inspected, and the sold to you before you’re ready to go is very unlikely. So today is day 9... My car has been sitting at the local Railyard 15min from the dealer for 9 days. I leave for a trip tomorrow and I rather not put 1000mi on my trade-in. This is ridiculous. I'm beyond upset.
Any recommendations?
I’m in a different build week group (built on 4/2) but mine has been sitting on ramp 6R for three weeks now?I just took the next step over from Internati to Ramp 6R, Richards-Gebaur, MO. This seems like a critical wait juncture. If we can break out of here in a reasonable amount of time; we might continue to trend with a decent delivery timeline. ?... if course I am not hopeful. I see a lot of pissed-off unsupervised ponies drag racing up and down the tarmac. GTs hustling unsuspecting Selects for 0-60 MPH races to win better seats on the next train out.
OK, I have a confession to make. I might have called the Norfolk Southern automated line more than once today. Turns out they do a very nice job of frequently updating the location of the railcars. Looks like it went from Harrisburg to Reading to Allentown today. Let's see what happens tomorrow and over the long weekend. It really is quite amazing to follow the 4/4 group and see how much ahead of us they are--more than one would have thought given their being only a week ahead build date-wise. So many have their cars at this point, which is great.Today's update: left Harrisburg, PA today. So some progress past few days. I think you will ultimately need a course of foam cannon followed by Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray.I just wanted to let you know that I've finally tested positive for Richards-Gebaur syndrome; Ramp 6R variant.
I'm going to do everything I can (which is nothing) to ensure this is a quick battle and I'm able to move on to the next stage as soon as possible.
