6.x Problem Poll

We're seeing issues that have come up in the various 6.x PowerUps. Let's see how widespread these are, from the silly ones (forgotten mirror state) to the serious (wandering outside the lanes).

I only recall a few that have been reported so far but if there are others, let me know and I'll add them in.

Like the PowerUp polls, you'll be able to change your votes if new issues arise. You can also list multiple issues if you have them.

Only issue for me with 6.2 was the mirrors not folding. I fixed that setting on all profiles (including Guest) and no issues since.

What is this 6.x you speak of? (I know what it is - just thinking there should have been one more option - not complaining as I do not have BC and I can live without the bugs)

The only issue I've had is that I'm stuck on 6.1.0 with the other 2021 job 1 cars (while we wait for these issues to be ironed out). Patiently waiting for an OTA bug that accidentally enables our frunk buttons.

I have had two issues.

6.1.0(GWM) got stuck and I ended up applying it using FDRS and then it applied again OTA.

I then applied all the other updates via FDRS

TCU - 6.3.0
SCCM - 6.4.0

ABS - 6.6.0
BECM - 6.6.0
SOBDM - 6.6.0
SOBDMC - 6.6.0

and the only other issue has been having to turn auto fold mirrors back on.

I've recently experienced three issues that are new, and coincide with recent updates:

• mirrors not folding
• screen locks up, blank
• very slow boot and appearance of main screen and its functionality

folding mirror issue has gone away. screen locked up only once thus far, about a week ago. slow boot has been seen several times sin recent month or two.

• Phone button on steering wheel not working
• Voice button on steering wheel not working
• No voice prompts in Nav

It’s possible that these occurred after an earlier power up and I just didn’t notice since I don’t use those buttons or the Nav often.

Have there been reports of these getting fixed with subsequent power ups? I was hoping to avoid doing a reset.

No those are all a result of 6.2. They will get fixed or you can do a master reset if you don't want to wait. That will reset all your settings

Thanks, good to hear they will get fixed at some point. As mentioned above, the mirror one was easy to fix. I’m not keen on doing a master reset.
