Long time reader – first post.

With zero help from my selling dealer, I have made good use of this forum, the Ford help line (nicest people I have ever talked to on a “Help Line”), and many of the contributors to YouTube. I ordered my 2022 Premium AWD, 91KWH battery on October 30, 2021. On May 25, 2022, I did my every now and then call to the Ford help line and she said I have a VIN with a week of Jul 4, 2022 build and sent me a confirming email. I checked the ford vehicle order tracking web site on June 24, and I was surprised to see they had “In Production” as the status – no window sticker available. I checked again today, and my window sticker came up. Not sure how long “in Production” can last or ever how long it takes to assemble one of these assuming all the parts are there.

If the to-the-dealer timing works the way I have read about here it should show up while I am away on an extended trip (go figure) and my daughter will be the one having all the fun until I get back in September.

BTW Here are the price changes from my 10-30-21 Order Summary:
Base was $50,800; Window Sticker $51,800
Star White Met Tri Coat - no change $795
91 KWH Bat was $5,000; Window Sticker $6,000
Destination & Delivery same $1,100
$325 credit on the Window Sticker for Active Park Assist - Prep Kit
All in: $59,370

Looks like batches scheduled in earlier weeks may be finished in build week 7/4/22, e.g. 6819.

Order Tracker isn't working (for me) this morning. I just chatted with Ford Support (always helpful) and I'm still "scheduled" for next week, but with a production date shifted back two days ... from July 6 now to July 8. That will be week 30 for me.

"Your current order status is "In Order Processing" and the order has been scheduled to build day 2022-07-08. At this time, the estimated delivery date is between Aug-18-2022 - Aug-24-2022, which is an estimate."

What is your batch number that is scheduled for 7/4/22 build week? (top right margin, to left of VIN on window sticker)? Since that week is a "cleanup week", I'd guess your batch number is likely one of those that had been scheduled for an earlier week, but your unit was delayed a bit. (It's useful to others of "us who wait" to know what's going on with scheduling and building.)

my Premium ER AWD ordered on 10/21/21 shows different numbers:

this is more expensive than your config as you have $795 color option.

however, I don't have the numbers when I ordered.

OK I could just wait but ....
I got the email from Ford that mine is scheduled the week of 7/11 I think 2022.
No update since that email.
How do you get that printout of the scheduled builds for each week?


Yes I'm installing at 14-50r in the garage in advance of the car arriving. I expect the cost for copper (not aluminum) and a Hubell receptacle ($100 vs $10 china built) of $480. I watched too many videos on the choosing the 14-50. I think it could be pulled and unplugged several times a month as compared to our dryer that has maybe been plugged and unplugged 6 times in 35 years. That led me to the Hubell. and I wanted copper wires.

I'll start with the EVSE (did I say that right?) that comes with the MME and will probably go to the Chargepoint home flex. Dominion power offers some small incentive to purchase and then use the smart charger so they can turn it off a few times a month if needed. About $175 for the purchase and then $40 per year.
