My car got off the kcs train in Laredo TX on the 19th and was on convoy to my dealer in Iowa. So either it was in their shipment yesterday (which seems too quick) or it'll be here next week. ?
Also Iowa mines been in the r6 ramp in MO since the 18th :( I can't wait

I ve found my dealer is helpful, but not the most informative. My friend at Ford has been able to get me a lot more information directly. Hang in there tho! We'll get a few more Mach Es on I80 soon!

I ve found my dealer is helpful, but not the most informative. My friend at Ford has been able to get me a lot more information directly. Hang in there tho! We'll get a few more Mach Es on I80 soon!
Getting in contact with the dealer is a hit and miss. Heck I had to call just to get the parking assist prep kit thing figured out because it was on hold before production for several weeks and the dealer rep just kept saying there's nothing they could do except wait. After I called the managers phone they found the problem in like 10 mins and resolved it. Been reading some horror stories in he forums here about dealerships wanting to do crazy markups after delivery, luckily I have signed docs stating they will sill under sticker price.

Yeah I've dealt with my fair share of slimier dealers at least in easter Iowas. The ones that seem to push a lot of F150s are certainly trying but our state has a lot of bronco orders that seem to keep consuming their time. ?

I sent you some of the bad dealers I avoided in DM Incase your friends were interested to avoid. Ive had a few friends transfer orders to at least the one dealer by me that's actually trying to learn and. E helpful. Tbf tho, I'm they're 2nd EV order unless they got a lighting early.

When did you order your car? I ordered on 12/3/21 and my car was built on 7/6/22 and looks like it's still sitting at the plant, awaiting shipping. as far as the parking assist prep kit was added by Ford, the dealer knew nothing about it, which is astounding. ?‍♂

Just a follow up on installing a Level 2 charging power outlet in the garage. In my case it required about 55 feet of red, black, and white 6 guage stranded wire and also 55 feet of green 8 guage stranded wire, a NEMA 14-50 outlet, the same length of 3/4 inch EMT Conduit with necessary fittings, and a new 50 amp circuit breaker for the breaker box. I had free professional supervision from a friend but did the work and bought all the parts from Lowes/Home Depot/Ace Hardware. The total cost was about 600 US dollars.

wanted to take the same route, but the city said I cant work inside the breaker panel without a license =/. Need to pay someone with a license to do the work. Kinda lame but hoping it's not a lot.

Luckily I got some electrician friends itching to install an EV charger, so he got it in this morning. Hopefully my pony gets in this week like it's supposed to! ?

I just checked in with Ford Chat on the transit status of my MME. Last check, it was in Laredo, TX. Today, it's in Muncie, KS (near Kansas City). The following details were shared with me:

Location:Ramp 6U, Muncie, KS
ETA:Aug-14-2022 - Aug-20-2022
Shipped Rail - Railcar # TTGX963903 (Norfolk Southern Corp )

Any idea on how to manually track a Norfolk Southern railcar? And oh, I sure hope my arrival is on the earlier side of the estimate.
